My Aura (part two)

We found a good size table so everyone can sit together. I was already dancing while we walked to the table, I was ready to have some fun. As everyone settles down and most of them was ready to go to the bar and get a drink, Jessica asked me if I wanted something I asked her for some water. She gave me a weird look before heading to the bar with some of our friends. As I was standing near the table dancing, Drake looks at me..

“Do you want to dance?” Drake asked me.

“Sure!” I was excited to start dancing. We’re at a Latin club, so they’re playing salsa, Reggae, and all the fun music to dance to. Drake followed me to the dance floor and grabbed my hand and spin me, started dancing to a salsa song. After fifteen minutes of dancing we decided to grab something to drink and catch our breaths. I have forgotten how much I enjoy dancing, we reached the table and Jessica hands me my water.

“Having fun so far?” Jessica asked me.

“Yes! I needed this!” I tell her.

“You seem a lot more relaxed” she might be right, I haven’t thought about my dad, about Lizandro, and about everything I have lost since I was ten. I took a drink of my water and put down my cup, and started dancing again by the table. All of the sudden I get a strange feeling of someone staring at me, normally I don’t care because we’re at a dance club of course there is people staring. But this feeling felt more like danger, I have only been feeling like this since today. I looked over my shoulder continuing to dance and noticed that guy from today staring at me, he really creeps me out. I haven’t mentioned this to Jessica yet, maybe I should? I continue to dance like I didn’t notice the guy staring at me.

“Let’s go dance” Jessica tells me.

“Let’s go” I grab Jessica and pulled her to the dance floor. Some of our friends joined us. After five minutes of dancing everyone from our group joined us. After twenty minutes of dancing more than half of the group decided to sit for a bit, I stayed on the dance floor and started dancing. As I was on the dance floor I looked up and noticed this man looking at me, he kind of looks like Lizandro, he has a similar face but this guy looked younger and more slimmer than Lizandro. I was baffled by how this man looks just like Lizandro, maybe he could be his brother but why would he be here unless Lizandro was here. I started looking around in hopes to see Lizandro but he wasn’t around. Disappointed, someone bumped into me and broke my daze. I look really quick to see who it was, some random person accidentally bumped into. When I look back to the guy who looks like Lizandro he was gone... strange.

Few hours later most of us were tired, Jessica left thirty minutes earlier Victor picked her up. Luckily I didn’t drink today, I can drive myself home. Before I decided to leave I made sure everyone was O.K. and made sure there was a sober person to take people home. I said my goodbyes and Drake decided to walk me out, I thought nothing of it. As we walked out the club Drake turns to me and told me good night, as he tried to reach in for a kiss..

“Hold up!” I put my hand up to stop him.

“What are you doing? Dude first this wasn’t a date and it wasn’t the right moment for a kiss, second I like you as a friend nothing more. You need to get with some of the ladies in our group not me.” I tried to be friendly about it.

“My bad beautiful.. I took a shot. I’m sorry” he was embarrassed.

“Its O.K. we’re still friends. We don’t have to talk about this.” I smile at him and he look at me and smiled back. We said our goodbyes. Might be a little awkward for a while, but we’ll be O.K. I watched him walk inside and I turned to walk to the car. Unfortunately we parked a block over so I have to walk a bit. I get a half block down and I get a feeling I am being followed and I smell dog... oh no, that guy is always around when I smell that. I walk a little faster and look over my shoulder to see if anyone was behind me, no one is there. I see the car ahead and continue to walk faster. All of the sudden I see dark, like someone put something over my head. I hear and feel someone behind me, I use my right elbow and tried to hit him on his stomach. I started to twist and try to free myself from this person who’s holding me. I managed to get lose and decided to use my head as a weapon, snapped my head upwards hoping to hit the guy on the face with the back of my head. It worked the guy let go of me thankfully he didn’t get the chance to wrap my hands together, I took off whatever was on my head and I looked at the guy who was trying to kidnap me.

It was that guy from the mountain trails, was he trying to kidnap me this whole time? I continue to stare at this guy waiting for his next move.

“What the f$&k do you want from me?” I ask the A-hole. I don’t want to run I don’t want to risk turning my back to him.

“My boss requested you darling, I am just doing my job” he told me, gave me the chills. As I was ready to ask who is his boss he lunged towards me ready to attack me, I quickly moved and managed to land I punch to his left side of his face. He paused for a second and turned towards me and was about to punch me and I was ready to block it. I hear a wolf howl behind me, I wanted to turn and look but the man in front of me might attack. I didn’t take my eyes off the guy in front of me, all of the sudden the guy turns into a wolf! Like a f$&king wolf! He turn into a large dark brown wolf, as he was done turning into a wolf. He looked right at me, I wasn’t scared. I didn’t move, I stared right into his eyes. I started to think about how I wish I can make a sound to hurt his ears to run him off, and maybe the one behind me too. As I stayed completely still and continue to repeat my wish, I began to feel something breaking free. I began to feel warm throughout my body.. I glanced at my hands to make sure their weren’t on fire. I looked quickly back to the wolf in front of me, as I did. The wolf behind me jump over me and attacked the other wolf, I decided to back up slowly. I didn’t take my eyes off the two wolfs making sure they don’t follow me, as I do I back into someone. S**t! Who the f$&k is this? I slowly turned to look who it is.

“Are you O.K. gorgeous?” it’s Lizandro.

“About time you show up!” I some how stayed calm through all this. It’s confusing..

“You’re not hurt are you?” Lizandro asked me.

“What the f$&k is going on?” as I turned to look at the wolfs still fighting..

“Come on let’s get out of here” Lizandro pulls me with him and helps in the car. He gets in and drives off.

“How did you know I was there?” I asked Lizandro.

“Don’t hate me but I had my brother watch over you until I got back into town.” did that really came out his mouth?

“You had your little brother baby sit me?” I ask him very angry at him.

“How did you know he’s my little brother?” He’s trying to change the subject.

“Answer my question Lizandro” he looked at me surprised that I was pissed off. I’m more pissed off at being babysat than almost getting kidnapped.

“I am sorry Annayees I wanted to make sure you were safe!” He told me in a calm voice.

“You could of told me” would of been nice for him to mention his brother. I looked out the window, I couldn’t say more. As we pull up to the mountains parking lot.

“What are we doing here?” I asked him before we got out of the car.

“We’re meeting my brother here...” as soon as he said that his brother walks out of the wooded mountains.

“Annayees this is my brother Luca.” I looked at Luca and he reached out his hand to shake. I shook his hand.

“Nice to officially meet you” I told Luca. You can definitely tell they’re brothers.

“So what happen? Did you kill him?” As Lizandro asked his brother. Who is he talking about? All I seen was the guy turning into a wolf and another wolf attack him... his brother wasn’t there!

“Now I would like to know what is going on?” I asked them I’m totally confused. They stopped talking and looked at me. Luca looked at Lizandro.

“It’s time to tell her everything” Luca told Lizandro and walked away to sit on top of Lizandros car. I watched Luca walk away and looked back at Lizandro.

“Tell me what? Why did that man turn into a wolf? And where was your brother? I don’t remember seeing him there.” I asked Lizandro.

“There is a supernatural realm, meaning... There are ware wolfs, witches, warlocks, fairies, dragon and anything you can think about as a supernatural. We live amongst humans. Some humans knows of us and some don’t. And your mother.... was one of the most powerful witch, until Alexis Black killed her...” O.K. he must be joking!

“My mother passed away due to an accident, and supernatural? Really? You’re trying to tell me my mother was a witch? I don’t believe you! And who’s Alexis Black?” I don’t believe it but some how I am not totally freaked out about it.

“I’m not lying, that wolf you saw attack the other one... that was Luca. And do you remember the surprise your mother wanted to give you for your tenth birthday... A witches power surface when she turns ten. I can tell you more but right now I need to get you out of this town.” I’m still confused I just don’t understand..

“ I can’t leave town yet. My mom left me something that I need to pick up tomorrow.” I look at Lizandro waiting for his response.

“Fine after we pick the thing up we’ll leave. For now you’re staying with me at my hotel room.” I nod at Lizandro and agreed to stay with him. Luca looked at his brother.

“We should go now in case that wolf went for help.” Lizandro nod his head towards Luca and grabbed my waist and lead me towards his car. He opened my door and helped me in. Before Lizandro got into the car, he talk some more with Luca. As I sit there something told me to chant..

So it shall be” all of the sudden I can clearly hear Lizandro and Lucas conversation.

“Alexis knows where she is, and now he knows she protected by wolfs. Make sure everyone back home knows about it, so we can be ready for him” I hear Lizandro tell Luca.

“He doesn’t know what pack we are. So how would he know where to attack? Luca asked Lizandro

“He will know, I’m pretty sure that guy was falling Annayees for a while.” I gasp after hearing that, Lizandro must have sensed it because he looked at me through the window. He turned back to his brother.

“Just go home and tell everyone like I asked” Lizandro looked a little annoyed by his brother.

“Yes boss” Luca said sarcastically and turned and walked away. That’s when Lizandro entered the car, he turned on the car and looked at me.

“Are you O.K.?” he asked.

“Yeah, just tired. Very long night. Is your brother going back home?” I already know the answer, maybe he’s right about the witch thing...

“Yeah, he’s going back so we can have everything ready for you to move in.” I didn’t know I was going to move in, and he’s lying to me. Well I guess with this Alexis guy looking for me, it’s probably safer with Lizandro. A wolf? We pull up to the hotel he’s staying at, the valet helped me out. Lizandro grabbed my hand and lead me inside, we entered the elevator and went up to the 3rd floor to the suites. We made it to his door and he unlocked it and told me to go in first and he followed, as soon as he closed the door behind him. He spin me around and hold me and kissed me, I was surprised at first but then I deepened the kiss. I missed him.. We continue to making out until we reached the bed.

“I missed these lips, and I really missed you!” Lizandro managed to break our kiss to tell me.

“I missed you too!” I told him kissed him one more time and walked away from his hold.

“What’s wrong?” He asked me.

“Nothing just really tired, do you have a t-shirt I can sleep in?” I asked him. I’m not ready to talk about anything it’s really late.

“Of course gorgeous, I’ll get you one.” He walked to his suit case and took out a white t-shirt and gave it to me.

“I’m going to make a phone call and I’ll be in bed.” I just nod at him and went into the bathroom to change. I can hear Lizandro conversation he’s having on the phone, and I am sure he’s not in the bedroom. Can I still hear people conversation happening far away from me.

I have no idea who he was talking to.

“I want every single men ready to fight.” I hear Lizandro say. Fight? he really going to fight to protect me? I started to doze off, I must be really tired...
