ANXO POV
“Wow! That's a good one. Can I know the person's identity?” I questioned excitedly. My eyes widened because I had had to go as far as looking for another chef; Mira just made everything so easy for me. I smiled at her, and she smiled back too.
“My friend Alina is bringing someone, probably tomorrow, to start work immediately,” She said and twisted her face sadly, knowing she would leave today.
“Thanks, I will expect the new chef tomorrow, bye. Take care of your dad and send my regards to him. I will miss you, though, but make sure to take care of yourself. If you need any help, just come to me” I sighed sadly, hugging her and caressing her Cheeks. I gave her a bundle of money to sustain her.
“Thanks, sir, I can't thank you enough,” She proffered and headed out, bidding me goodbye before joining my driver.

KYRA POV
Throughout the night, Kyra couldn't get her mind off the proposal from Miss Alina. Her thoughts were about the proposal and the Beneficial things that would come if she accepted the proposal. She finally concluded that she was going to accept the proposal.
“I think I am thinking of this s**t; I will accept it. Not a big deal though,” I assured myself, though I couldn't stop thinking about it. I stood up after concluding my thoughts, rushed to my bathroom, had my bath, dressed up, and hurriedly left the room.
“Good morning, Mom and Kenji, I am so tardy, and I need to hurry so that I won't be joining you both for breakfast. Bye,” I yelled and ran out without waiting for their response. I boarded a cab quickly that took me to the ‘GAZETTE.’
I left the cab and hurriedly went to Alina's office to tell her my final decision. I bumped into Tracey; she gave me thumbs up; I had already told her and Daniel about the proposal. I smiled, then continued my journey to Miss Alina's office.
****
“Good morning Miss Alina” I greeted her immediately. I entered her office, and different thoughts ran through my mind. She stopped what she was doing and raised her face.
“Good morning Kyra. How was your night?” She asked calmly, smiling widely, waiting for my reply.
“I am fine, ma, and I have decided to accept your proposal,” I replied, and she hugged me excitedly as if she knew what my reply was.
“Good job Kyra. This will favor you and the ‘GAZETTE.’ Let's get ready now. I got a call from My friend, who was the previous chef. I am taking you there now,” She said, and my heart skipped and started beating fast; I wondered why she was rushing everything.
“Okay, ma, I am ready,” I accepted, but within me, I wasn't ready for this s**t. I don't know the so-called ‘Anxo's’ personality, hope everything goes on right.
“Let's go to his Mansion now; Jackson knows everything, so don't be nervous. Take note of this. You are now in a game, and there is no backing out,” She whispered In my ears, and that was when I knew I was in for a dirty game. My heart kept beating rapidly idly, and my fears increased as we headed out of her office.
“Ok…a…y… M… an,” I stuttered, blinking my eyes repeatedly in fear.
“You will be fine,” she muttered and touched my hair. I just nodded, still in fear. We got into her car, she zoomed off, and I sighed sadly, missing my friends already.
*****
Miss Alina halted in a gigantic mansion. I couldn't help but gasp at the sight. She came down from the car, gave me a sign to wait behind, talked to security personnel, and we were granted entrance to the mansion with ease.
We both came down from her car, which she parked in the garage. Thanks to security, we were granted access to the main door. I marveled at the interior designs, but that wasn't my problem now. We were told to sit and wait for the Almighty ‘Anxo’ to come. His face popped in, and My eyes glittered in surprise.
“Is he a human?” I whispered to myself. I stared at the angel in front of me, and for the first time, I drooled at his sight; his height, body, and dress is hundred percent cool. Miss Alina tapped me, and I composed myself immediately.
“Good day, sir” We both greeted each other politely but didn't get any reply, and that was when it dawned on me that I would be facing an arrogant personality.
“I hope you both know why you are here?” He questioned, and I rolled my eyes secretly at his brazen behavior.
“Yes, sir, My name is Alina, and this is Kyra, your new chef. I believe Mira has told you,” Miss Alina explained, pointing at me, but the look on the so-called business tycoon shows he is not pleased through his reactions.
“Mira didn't tell me anything; just go straight to the point and stop beating around the bush,” He said rudely, and I got angry at his behavior.
“But she just told you I am the new chef. What else did you want her to say, huh?” I affirmed and smirked, glaring at him.
“Keep your mouth shut, or you will be thrown out of here,” He mouthed with an expressionless face, and I scoffed.
“Sorry, sir,” Miss Alina muttered; she hit my arms, insisting I apologize too.
“Sorry, sir,” I grumbled, biting my lips at the process; his facial expression remained the same, and I wondered if he was a human or an alien.
“Keep your sorry to yourself,” He yelled, sipping his orange juice beside him. We kept quiet and waited for him to be done. I was already tired of his behavior.
“I love perfection, I am a perfectionist, and I hate mistakes. Any mistakes from you, your sack later awaits you. I want you to do your job delicately, and you must be committed. The worst thing you will ever do is invade my privacy; note that. You will be staying here because your service needs twenty-four hours. Your off is only weekends,” He pointed out carefully; I stared at him and concluded that he looked so perfect, but his words got me “you will be living here” I was dumbfounded.
“Huh? I will be living here?”
