Summer to Remember

Prologue

"I never thought you could do this to me!" I almost lost my voice when I shouted that. I just feel tired and sad now, I am weak because of what is happening now.

"Kei, please let me explain" Marcus said as he knelt in front of me while holding my hand. I violently grabbed my hand he was holding and slapped him, his reaction was obvious in shock when I did that.       "I love you so much, Kei"

"You know what? you just made me look so stupid. I used to worry that you might be cheating on me but"  Hot tears quickly flowed from my eyes, I could hardly see because of my tears. "But all this time I was the mistress"

I close my eyes sharply as I remember the memories of the two of us. "Did you really love me?" Marcus's eyes landed on me.  "Of course" he almost stammered as he said that.  "I loved you Kei" His words sounded like a gunshot wound to me because of the extreme pain of what he said. 

"Get out of here" I calmed my voice when I said that to him. "I can't leave you alone here Kei"

"I said get out of here!" I suddenly felt faint when I shouted that, my knees had already fallen to the ground, the last I had just seen was Marcus running towards me. after that, everything went black.
