Charlotte's POV It was as if the earth stood still. I was still looking at Anthony. Anthony was a good warrior that has never been defeated before but for someone to hold him like he was just a little dog, fear gripped me. That was when I noticed that the man holding him looked like a giant. I slowly looked from his legs, then up to his body. The moment my eyes settled on his face, I became dizzy. I couldn't hold it. I didn't even know I had fainted until I heard people calling my name. Opening my eyes, I saw the man towering over me. The man standing before me was far more handsome than anything I could describe. His body was that of a Greek god made with precious stones. I'm not exaggerating, he was glowing. His height was so intimidating that I felt like a dwarf even at 5.5ft. His dark wavy hair flowed above his shoulder and his silver eyes were looking at me, as if it was seeing my soul. His nose was well defined while his thin lips felt like they needed to be kissed. I'm crazy! Yes I know! I shouldn't be ogling a man like RYKER DEVANCHI! THE LYCAN KING! That man was the true definition of beauty is dangerous. Many had said that the devil had given him beauty in exchange for his soul! Ryker was a very dangerous man. In fact he is a beast. "Are you going to keep staring at me like that?" Ryker asked sternly. I looked around and saw the fear in people's faces. I would rather marry Anthony's paralyzed father than to marry Ryker Devanchi. That man has a demon in him. "Sign the marriage contract!" He ordered me. I didn't know why he had to make me marry him. I don't even know him from Adam. I only heard of him and saw his picture. "Why?" I don't know when I said that. I was so scared that he was going to kill me. Ryker snorted. "If you don't do as you are told, I will kill these people one after the other," he threatened. The firmness of his voice scared everyone and they started pleading with me. Many of those in the room don't deserve to die. "I will start with him," he said looking down. That was when I noticed that he still held Anthony like a dog. For the first time in my life, I wanted to be evil. "Maybe I will sign it after you kill that dog you're holding," I said with a smile. Anthony didn't expect me to say that and he widened his look. He was at my mercy. Everyone in the room gasped at what I said. "You evil woman! How dare you say that?" Mabel shouted and ran towards me. Ryker's guard didn't even let her get to me before he smacked her and Mabel fell to the ground lifeless. I shouted because I didn't expect him to kill her. It was then I knew that I didn't have the heart for even Anthony to die. "Please don't kill my people," I pleaded. His face was as static as a wall. " Sign the paper," he ordered. I was so scared. I knew once I signed the paper, I would be controlled by the devil himself. Ryker was nothing but a beautiful demon. I would prefer marrying an old paralyzed man than to marry him. Moreover, there were a lot of rumours about Ryker Devanchi. Oh, I forgot to tell you that Ryker Devanchi is the Lycan King. The most powerful man in history. He has the largest pack and no one could compete with his warriors. He is referred to as the king of kings. That title, he gave it to himself. He conquered so many packs and won't show any mercy. Any land that Ryker gets to, they are doomed. As brutal as the man was, he was said to have burnt his wife alive because she betrayed him and now he only had a mistress who was said to be a slave he had captured from war. Many had not seen him but the mention of his name alone would bring terror among men. Such a man can't be my husband. I am weak and how would I cope with such a man. He would definitely be my death. "Your majesty, I'm already married to him. I can't marry two men at a time." I felt that excuse was enough for him to leave until he said those scary words. "Then I'll bury him alive," he said looking at Anthony's father. I know how much Anthony loved his father. He looked at me with pleading eyes. I also started crying. "Supreme One, if this is the help you sent me, then you are just too evil," I said out loud. The man standing beside Ryker, gave me a pen as if mandating me to sign it. Knowing I had no choice, I signed my name and Ryker signed his name too. He didn't even give me time to process that I was married to the deadliest man of all time. Ryker looked at me, ripped off the tattered wedding dress in front of everyone. He didn't even care if I was naked or not. Well, I wasn't. He pulled his jacket and wore it for me like I was a child. Without anything notice, he carried me on his shoulder and walked away. I looked at everyone I knew all my life and they looked at me sadly. I could see Anthony's anger and I wondered why he was angry. He should be happy that I've left. It wasn't until we got outside that I noticed that Ryker only came with one person. No warrior came with him and I could see all the guards of my pack tied together. That man was truly a demon. I wondered where their car was. "Are you ready?" Ryker asked me. "For?" Within a twinkle he wrapped his arms around me and sped off. I was so shocked and dizzy. Before I knew it, I was standing beside a long black limo. The environment was so different and it speaks of the large volume of wealth. Yes, we were not poor but compared to Ryker's wealth, we were paupers. I was so awed by the beauty of the place that I forgot about how we got there. Ryker tossed me into the car and that was when I remembered what happened. "How did you do that? I asked him. I was so frightened beside such a man. "Just think that I have fast feet," he said with a dismissing voice. I wanted to say more but his voice shut me off. I wanted to ask him why he appeared at my wedding and married me. My life seemed to be a mystery. For a few weeks, it was like I'm in a movie. Unexplainable things were just happening to me. We got to his palace and I opened my mouth, mesmerised by the beauty of the place. How could one even imagine making a place look like heaven? I was awed. I knew I shouldn't because it was the domain of the man beast but I couldn't help it. I looked at Ryker but his eyes were clear and firm. He didn't seem to care about my attitude. Soon many people rushed out to greet us. Their eyes were on me because I had Ryker's jacket on. Then a woman walked towards us. She was dressed like a queen, adorned with beautiful clothes and jewellery. I looked at her and admired her. She was indeed beautiful. "Your majesty," she bowed slightly. "Who is this?" She asked, looking at me with a frown.
