“Soon? It’s been more than a month since the Practicals got over,” said Rahul.
“That was the best time, right after the exams,” said Zahi wistfully. “Nothing to do, and too early to worry about results.”
“We’ll never get this kind of free time again,” agreed Rahul. “Siddharth said to make the most of it, because there’ll never be any real holidays ever again. Once we start our ward postings, that is.”
“s**t! Let’s not be so solemn. You sound as though the good times are over forever,” said Vivek sorrowfully, continuing to roll the pen.
