AfterlightIt was the end of the year, but in a sense it was a new beginning. In less than a month’s time, Rahul, Zahi and Vivek would be taking up their first house posts as doctors. Not interns, but real qualified doctors now. At the present moment though, the three of them were sprawled on the grass outside the Pharmacology building, the secluded spot that they had once regarded as their own when they were in Second MBBS. It was funny how they had never been back to their place since then. Until now, when possibly, it reminded them of those trouble-free days nearly four years ago. Perhaps they had started coming here again because they felt a bit like that once more.
