Vanessa’s POV
After I had woken up at the hospital, it took me more than enough minutes to try and decipher my location.
My brain was in a haze and I had to pause the different thoughts in my head for a moment before it finally dawned on me that I was in the hospital.
I tried standing up from the bed and resting my back against the head of the bed before I watch the Queen walk out of the bathroom with my daughter in her arms.
I was mesmerized for a moment. I never knew Richard’s mom would care this much. I actually thought she was this stone cold, witch from the North of a cold region. Maybe people really do change and I hope this change is something that’ll be of benefit.
