“Help, anyone help! It’s Melody!” Frederik screamed in the hallway and ran back inside. His heart pounded as he saw Melody sprawled on the floor, her face pale and eyes closed. He rushed to her side, desperately checking for any sign of life.
He heard footsteps stomping in the hallway.
“What happened?” Lila was the first to reach them, Gabriel, a close second.
“She started screaming. I went to call for help, and when I came back, she had fainted…” Frederik was kneeling beside her.
“Thomas and Eliza are on their way,” Gabriel mumbled.
Eliza arrived with Thomas and Amara, their faces etched with concern. They hurried over to where Melody lay motionless on the floor. Eliza immediately knelt beside her, gently touching Melody’s forehead.
“She’s cold,” Eliza muttered, looking up at Thomas
