Not believing in love

chapter One

Jane is a firstborn from a family of four.She has two younger sisters joy and Angel, and a brother Victor. Jane comes from a humble and hand working family.Her father is a farmer and her mother a house wife.Jane grew up with love and care because her aunties and uncles from her father's side really loved her and she was treated as a princess by her grandmother.She went to a boarding school when she was still young because where they lived did not have good schools.Jay was her classmate since grade one.Jane was a lively and mischievous girl so she never had a time to have a crush on anybody when she was in primary school but that was different to Jay because she had a girlfriend on her final year in primary school.When their finished primary school and joined high school that the time Jane started finding jay attractive.And the good thing is their attended the same church though they lived a far from each other.Jane started fall for Jay and I remember she even once asked her sister Joy if they looked good together,but because Joy never knew what Jane was meaning she even supported them.Jane was a good looking girl, and she easily interacted with anyone.She was always very open with her parents.They was a time she was coming from the market with her sister Joy and they meet with Patrick who maybe had a crush on Jane and wanted to try her luck.She tried to approach Jane but Jane was not interested because she was already hungry and she never wanted to waste time.She just wanted to reach home.But Patrick being him blocked them and she told Jane she fall in love with her when she was young and she has been waiting for her to grow up and since she now a grown up she should know that she's his and she's not allowed to fall in love with anyone else.Jane was embarrassed because her sister was with her and even though she was close to her she was still young to her some rubbish.She told Patrick she's not anybody belongings and Patrick cannot control her life and he can never force her to love him.Patrick became furious and wanted to kiss her by force but Jane being quick with her movement made the kiss land on her cheek's.Jane saw that it's seems Patrick is obsessed with her and she decided to play a long with him and he told him to give her time to think about it and he will give him a respond.When Patrick heard that he became happy, and decided to live them to go home ,she even kissed her cheeks a goodbye.When Jane and her sister reached home she took everything to the kitchen and found her aunt washing utensils.She served her food and also served her sister Joy food, and took it to the dinning table.Joy was very tired and after seeing the food she was very happy because she's a foody.They finished eating they food and Jane narrated to her parents what happened between them and Patrick and her parents were happy because they daughter trust them and share everything with them.Jane father loved her daughters very much and she pampered them because they also trusted him and they always told him everything that happened to them with living a single word.That evening Jane father Mr Nick looked for Patrick and warned him to stop bothering her daughter because she's still innocent.Patrick was also shocked when he learned that Jane shared everything with her parents and promised Jane father that he would bother with her again because she's truly innocent.

That night Patrick went to hang out with his three friends Davis, Damian, Jason.

"I met with Jane today and I confessed my love to her" Patrick said

"Why did you do that and you know Jane is still a child she's still in highschool " Jason said with a furious tone

"And do you know what she did my guys,she went and told her parents everything, that girls is really a child,I won't bother with her again because Mr Nick warned me"

Jason smiled and was relieved.His friends saw the change in Jason expression and we're confused

"Don't tell me you love that girl"Damian asked Jason

"She's my friend and she was also my classmate in primary so I take her as a sister " Jason defended himself because he also never knew if he loved her .

"Bro if you love her you can try your luck,you might not know if she'll accept you" Patrick said

"So you didn't love her you just wanted to play with her, because if you loved her you couldn't advice me such a thing"Jason asked Patrick

"I didn't love her,I heard from a crowd last time that Jane hates men very much and I just wanted to see it for myself "Patrick said

Jane was on the bed with her sister Joy" Jane you know I love and I know you also love me and Angel very much,I will always support you in whatever decision you make" Jane was confused because of what Joy told her and she asked her why are you saying that to me"Because at your age you should have a boyfriend or a crush but you have none,you should try and give love a chance and stop telling mum and dad everything."joy said"are you telling me that I should have given that Patrick a chance? He's way older than me"Jane responded

"I don't mean that sis, at least give Jason a chance, have you never noticed how he looks at you when you meet with him,and you remember the day Robert tried to harass you and he stood up for you Infront of everyone, please sis consider his feeling and stop avoiding him"

Jane was shocked because she never knew joy was always watching her when they talked with Jason, by what she was confused of is that Jason have never approached her talking about relationship issues and she has been avoiding Jason because she has begun loving Jason and she fear to open up to him because she don't want to be rejected.

"Ok, I'll consider talking to Jason and hear him out" Jane said Good night to joy and went to sleep in her bedroom .

Jane took a bathe changed into her pajamas and entered her bed switch off the lights.

Jane was unable to sleep recalling what her sister Joy had told her.Joy was still young but she understood her very well and always on her side.She was tossing trying to find a good sleeping position but to no avail because her mind was just thinking about Jason.

On the other side Jason was recalling what Patrick said to them.He always loved his friends but he could not allow any one to hurt his sunshine.Jason had always loved Jane and was always watching her from far but he had decided to confront her and confess his feeling towards her.If she rejects him it well and good but his praying for the best.jason want to give love a chance because he doesn't want her sunshine to be taken by anyone and he decide he will talk with his elder sister in the morning and ask for her advice and option.
