Silent Shadow

Many years had passed since the birth of the Alphas pups. A night filled with howls of pain and joy, that could be heard across the western kingdoms. Packs for miles around knew that this birth was different from the others and that the future would be uncertain. For the night that gave the Black Moon, gave life to two pups and with them, a wave of power was felt across the country. Few knew what this meant, with rumours beginning as soon as the next day began. These two tiny pups had the respect of many wolves, before they knew what life was. But with power, came fear and resentment. Danger was eminent for these two pups and for the pack that held them. The first year of their life was filled with terror, as the pack was attacked by anyone who sought the power that the pups held. Some tried to take them, to raise them as their own, hoping to control their power. Others tried to kill them, either in an attempt to gain the power or in fear of them. The Silent Shadow pack, however, stayed strong and protected their pups, with their lives. Many were lost in the great battles that occurred, but the pack stayed together and soon became the most feared pack. On the pups first birthday, peace was brought to the world, as the Great Alpha King and Queen Luna, visited the pack with words of wisdom and warning.

“This pack is to be protected, by the Royal Court. Any attempt on their lives, will be deemed as an attempt on the Royals. Death with be the only punishment. Heed this warning, for another will not be given”.

This proclamation was announced across the world, to every pack and rogue. Thus, the pack were safe, not attacks were recorded on the pack for 20 long years. Bringing us to today, the day of the cubs 21st birthday. A day of celebration for many, not just the Silent Shadow pack. Joy could be felt throughout the nation, as the coronation of the knew Alpha would also occur today. Who would lead?
