Skye’s POV
Although I was slowly regaining feeling in my hands as the swelling in my back came down, I still couldn’t feel anything in my feet or legs. There were no witnesses that saw me being attacked and how this happened remained a mystery. I was staring a life in a wheelchair in the face.
Rochelle from the seeker's house came to see me to evaluate my condition to figure out if they could perhaps help, but soon had to give me the bad news that they were unable to help. She also confirmed that it was a mystery as everything was fine after the operation. There was no sign of infection, and if the wound was made by a demon, it would have taken longer to heal. On the other hand, in this situation, it was also not healing as fast as it should have.
Nothing made sense. No bones were broke
