I paid attention to everything when the nurse showed me how to bathe and dress little Leo, and even more particularly when they showed me how to feed him, burp him and cuddle him tightly into his little blanket when it was time for him to go to sleep. My body healed faster than it did after my back injury, and two days later, Theodore and I took Leo home.
We put him down in his little bed in his own room with all his new things around him, but after Theodore helped me to take a long hot shower, I quickly went back to Leo’s room to check on him.
