Skye’s POV
I looked at the kids packing their things after our stay at the castle, then turned to look at the castle. I had been here a couple of times, and still felt as if I hadn’t seen a quarter of what was in the castle. Julius and I had a little bit of time to work on my creative side and we found out that drawing was definitely not my strong suit! It was fun, though. The children learned a lot and after getting rid of the demon king’s last piece on this earth, my nightmares had disappeared completely.
“I will see you guys in about a month?” Esmeralda looked sad before hugging me. I had realized how lonely she must get in this enormous castle.
“Yup, we can’t wait, can we baby?” I handed Leo to her so she could hug him before we left. Theodore placed a soft kiss on his mom’s cheek.
