Skye’s POV
Over the next two days, we gave the children some time to explore the castle a little more. Julius enjoyed telling them the history of the castle and the many treasures it held. Going back to the pack territory meant I wouldn’t have time to spend on learning how to be creative. By the time we were ready to leave, I don’t know who was more disappointed to leave … Me or the children, but we had learnt a lot more about demons that we had to share with the demon hunters before the next attack.
The next attack … I wanted to be there. I wanted to make them pay, but I was scared. I knew I had to get over my fear, but I was still scared. They say that courage is to be brave when you are scared, but I’m just wondering who the they in that saying is. They say a lot of things that don’t
