Chapter 9 : I am not jealous

The next day after his debut, I met him at labels. He came to finish few formalities and I went to meet Matt. I entered Matt's cabin and saw them both talking. I smiled looking at Danie and kept staring at him. 

“Hey J!” Matt said. 

“Hey! George asked to give this to Uncle Zach.” I said giving him a file of documents about some property. 

“Yeah! Thanks.” 

I turned to Daniel and said 

“Hello!”

“Hey Jennie! Thanks for coming yesterday.” 

“It’s my pleasure. By the way, you rocked. Really rocked. You are a celebrity now.” I said smiling. 

“Thank you.” 

We three talked for few minutes and Matt got a call.

“I’m so sorry. I have to go somewhere.” 

“Oh! That’s fine. We are leaving.” Dan said. 

We? Did he really say ‘We’? Are we going together? 

We then stood from the chairs and Matt left the cabin in hurry. We both strolled out talking to eachother. 

“So, what now?” Dan asked. 

I turned to him and narrowed my eyebrows. 

“I mean, do you have any work?” 

“No. From tomorrow, I will be having a lot of things to do.” I laughed. 

“Why?” 

“Modelling works. I maybe busy from tomorrow.” 

“So you can’t spend time with us from tomorrow?” he questioned. 

“Perhaps.” 

We strolled out the labels. I leaned against my car and Dan stood in front of me. Few people gathered the place after seeing us. Some started taking selfies with me and some started talking to Daniel. Then they all left.

“Oh My God! Daniel Eric.” Suddenly a teen girl came from out of nowhere and shouted looking at him. She stepped towards him and said “I came to your concert yesterday. You are amazing and I’m a big fan of you.” She said excitedly. 

I smiled looking at her. 

“Thank you” Daniel told her and smiled. 

She took his autograph, selfie and suddenly she hugged him. Danie and I both felt shocked.

What the hell! How can she hug him? I don’t know why... but I got angry with her. I kept staring at her. She then kissed him on his cheek. I became more furious and said 

“Danie! Let’s go.” 

He looked at me with question mark face. Without giving him a chance to say anything, I caught his wrist and dragged him to my car. 

“Get in.” I said. 

“Oh... K.” He said confused. 

He sat on the passenger seat and I walked around to the driver seat. I opened the car door and before entering in, I looked at her angrily. She didn’t notice me as she kept busy herself looking at her phone and smiling. I sat on the seat and started driving. 

“O.K. Where are we going?” Danie asked. 

“She hugged you and... and she kissed you. Why didn’t you utter anything? You stood like a statue.” I shouted at him. 

He looked at me surprised and I continued driving. I don’t know where but I kept driving. 

“Jen...” when he was about to say something, I interrupted him. 

“O.K. you are a celebrity now that doesn’t mean anyone can come and kiss you.” 

I halted the car to the side of a road and continued staring at him. 

“Jen...” Again when he was about to say something, I interrupted. 

“I’m not jealous. Don’t think like that. Do you understand? I.AM.NOT.JEALOUS.” I said pressing each word. 

He smiled looking at me and said “Yes. You are not jealous.” 

We both kept silent for a moment and I asked “Where to?” 

“Home.” He replied. 

Then we reached his home. I saw everyone enjoying as they got huge success yesterday. 

“Jennie!” Hell came towards me shouting and hugged. 

I hugged her back. “Congrats!” I said. 

“Thank you.” She replied. 

“Congratulations everyone. It’s time to celebrate.” I said looking at everyone. 

“Yeah!” everyone shouted in unison. 

We spent some time at his home. Except Danie, everyone started planning what to buy? Where to live? And Hell... she is completely different. She started surfing the internet about top colleges to join.

It’s evening, we all decided to go to a top rich pub. I called my security and told him to send another car. Hell and I started in my car and remaining all started in another. 

Soon we all reached pub. As I knew a lot of people there, no one questioned about our ages. Even if they asked Hell and I are eighteen and remaining are nineteen. Everyone there shocked and shouted in excitement looking at us. We all hit the dance floor and enjoyed a lot. Then I sat on the chair and stared at everyone dancing. Soon hell sat beside me and shouted “I’m so happy.” 

“Me too.” 

I kept staring at Daniel whereas Hell was staring at Ric. Hell became furious when Ric started dancing with a blonde. I looked at her angry face and tried to calm her down. 

“It’s pub, Hell. It’s common.” 

I said it but I saw myself in her. I reacted the same way when a girl hugged Danie this morning. Hell is in love with Ric. It’s nothing weird to feel that way. But what about me? I’m not in love with Danie yet I felt the same way. While I was in my thoughts, Hell interrupted me saying “I’m gonna kill her.” She started standing from the chair but I caught her wrist and made her sit. 

“Hell!” I shouted. 

“I can’t see them like this Jennie. How can he dance with some other girl?” 

“Why can’t he dance with some other girl?” 

“Because he knew that I’m in love with him.” Finally she revealed it. 

I looked at her in surprise and she shut her eyes not believing what she said a moment ago. 

“What did you say?” 

“I... um... nothing.” 

“You said you love him. Oh My God! You finally said it.” 

She kept her gaze on the floor and blushed. 

“You must tell him.” I said. 

“No. I’m afraid Jennie.” 

“Afraid? You said that you’ll propose him after achieving your dream. You are a celebrity now. Go and tell.”

I pushed her shoulder. 

“No.” She shouted. “I can’t. I’ll literally die of dread if I look at him.” 

We saw that blonde pulling Ric close to her. Hell gritted her teeth at that blondie’s behaviour. 

“Tell him before some other girl makes him fall for her.” I said. 

“You are right.” 

She mustered up the courage and stood from the chair. She went to the dance floor. She caught Ric's hand and made him turn to her. They both stared at eachother for few seconds and suddenly Hell started kissed him on his lips. 

I immediately stood from the chair and looked at them in surprise. Dan and the remaining others too stopped dancing and looked at them in shock. 

Everyone clapped and shouted looking at them. They both forgot what’s everything around them and continued kissing passionately.

“Is that really Hell?” I mumbled. 

Then they stopped kissing and looked at eachother. He smiled looking at her and she started blushing looking at him. 

I strolled near the dancing floor and saw them. They looked really so cute together. I couldn’t frame the sentences to explain about them that much cute they were looking together.

Ric cupped Hell’s face and said “Love you, Hell.” 

She looked at him and said “Love you too, Ric.” Then they both hugged. 

“Finally, he made it out of friend zone.” Tom told Tim. 

“Congrats bro.” Tom and Tim shouted in unison. 

I laughed looking at them. Then I shifted my gaze to Daniel only to find out that he’s been looking at me already. I smiled looking at him and he smiled too. 

After an hour, we all started to leave. But this time Hell and Ric started in a car and we all started in another. Soon we reached their house. Everyone teased Ric and Hell for few minutes. 

“It’s time I have to go.” I told everyone and stepped out. 

Daniel and I walked out of the house and strolled to my car. 

“I’ll bring you the other car tomorrow.” He said. 

“Sure.” 

I reached my car and stopped walking. I looked at him and said “So?” 

“So?” 

I smiled looking at him.

“Good night.” I said. 

He strolled to me and hugged. My heart paced fast with his action. I felt shocked and surprised. I felt like the time has stopped and that one minute felt like an hour for me. I hugged him back tightly. After a minute, we both stood straight and looked at eachother. 

“Good night, Jennie.” He said. 

Without saying anything, I opened my car door and left.
