Chapter 2 : Rockers band

While I was stepping out from the labels a voice stopped me.
"Can I have your autograph?”
I turned around to see the face. Again that dazzling ocean eyes struck my deep black eyes. He was the one I saw at the concert. I noticed him clearly now. He is many inches taller than me. Probably 6 or more. Don’t mistake me as a short girl. I am 5’5. Though I can’t see his body, I understood that he has the perfect abs beneath his shirt. He has got a messy hair and a tattoo on his left side of his neck.
“Hey star!! Autograph..??? “He asked.
“You were at the concert yesterday.” I replied.
“That’s shocking. A famous singer remembered me. That’s really, really shocking.”
“I .... Um... I was... anyway.” I gave him my autograph and said “By The Way your voice is familiar.”
“I doubt it. Thank you star.”
He replied and walked by talking with someone on the phone about ROCKERS BAND. It's an insta page and a channel in YouTube that provides some musical stuff, pleasant singing and unheard music displaying only musical instruments which attracted me a lot.
"Hey! Are you from rockers band?" I asked.
"Yes. Do you know about it?" he replied
“Now I get it. I heard your voice from Rockers band. I am one of the followers with a fake profile in your channel. I like your music and your ideas. "
"Another surprise. A star is following our channel it's time for us to celebrate. “He smiled.
"Can i know your name?”
"I am Daniel Eric.”
"That's nice. I mean nice name. Can i know the purpose of your visit here?" I asked.
"I came here to ask the sponsorship for our debut album. I think it's my fifth visit. Whenever i come, they used to send me back by saying ‘Sir is not available’, ‘It’s time to go’ and so many excuses. Look at that white blondie sitting in the reception she’ll come within few minutes and say ‘We are sorry. Sir is quite busy’”.
Within 5 minutes that lady came and said
"We're sorry. Sir is quite busy.”
We both burst out laughing but I understood the pain behind his smile.
"M.R.Eric could you stay here for a while? I’ll come within 2 minutes" I asked
He nodded. Then I went to Matt's cabin.
“Hey Matt. I need a favour from you.”
“Yeah!! Tell me J”
“Daniel is one of the most talented guys I've ever known. Why can't you give the sponsorship to him”.
"Whoa! Whoa! Wait ... Who is Daniel?"
"He is a good singer. I knew him from YouTube channel and i********: account."
"J ... Are you serious?? How can I give to a person who has no experience in any concerts? He doesn't even have any rich background”.
"Trust me Matt he will become a famous rockstar if you give a single chance."
“How can I give like that J? What's our reputation if the track fails...? "
“Matt! Test them first and decide. At least give them a chance to project their talent infront of you”.
"Fine J! I’ll give a chance to them but if it's not nice i can't do anything. Ask him to come with his band at evening 5".
"Thank you Matt. “I’ll go and inform the same.
I walked to Daniel and told
"Here is good news for you M.R.Eric. You are invited here to display your talent at evening 5 along with your group"
"Are you serious?? Does Matthew agree to this?”
"Of course I am serious. You should come here at 5.”
"O.M.G that’s.... That’s really a surprise. W-Wait! Did you recommend us to him?”
“No I asked him on behalf of you to give you a chance.”
“Not to be rude, but I can’t take this chance. I need to grow up with my talent not with recommendations “he said.
"There is a lot of difference between recommendation and asking for a chance. Don't confuse with these two.”
“But I... "
“Don't think much. Just treat me as your organizer. I liked your voice, music so I gave a chance to meet Matt ".
“Thank you Miss Jennifer."
"Fine meet us here at 5” I said and went off.
I reached the house and somehow managed to go to my room escaping from George's deadly glare.
"I said not to go alone" George shouted.
"Cool George. Look at me I am here. I used to go alone to whatever the places before excluding night travels. What's changed now?"
"You are becoming a star Jen. Something terrible may happen to you if you go alone."
"George! That's fine. Sit down and listen to me I have something to say to you."
"What?"
"I met a person from Rockers band"
"Rockers band?"
"Yeah! I used to tell about an insta page. My favourite...Good singing..."
George kept staring at me in a confused state.
"You forgot about it George. I understand. I asked Matt to give that band a chance. I have to go to Labels again at 5."
"Why?"
"Seriously George? Why? They have good talent so....."
"Darling! It's not your duty to mend others lives. Whatever, I need to make a call."
He stood up from the bed and walked out.
