Chapter 19

Mirin is leading at the front of the entire group as she reached both Axel and Fulario. Axel seemed to be reading some sort of pamflet on his hands while Fulario seemed to be sleeping while sitting.

Mirin greeted both of them, "Hey! We're back! What are you reading?" as she gave a high wave towards Axel and Fulario.

Axel tapped on Fulario's shoulder to wake him up and he then opens his eyes. Axel then replied, "This?" he said as he folds the pamflet and raise it on his hand before continuing, "I got this pamflet from one of the book stands there, it seemed interesting so I took one of them and read it. Turns out, it was a recruitment poster for one of the City Pillars," he said as he looks at Mirin who is now looking down at the pamflet from a standing position.

The kids behind her doesn't understand what they are talking about but then, Wyatt and Sophie arrived. When they arrived, Sophie asked Axel, "Dad? What is "City Pillars"?" she asked in a confused tone as she tilts her head slightly at the strange name.

""City Pillars" are one of the biggest and and most influential companies working inside the City. They each have their own field of expertise and if you managed to work inside one of the City Pillars, then you are set for life financially," he explained to Sophie in a way that he thinks is simple enough for her to understand. However, she doesn't seem to understand as she still tilts her head with zero hint of knowing what he just said.

Right at this exact moment, Wyatt speaks up, "Um, guys? Can I leave you guys for a bit? I just found a cloths shop and I want to at least wear something when I get back to my house," he said as he raises one of his eyebrows, waiting for the answers from the others.

"Sure, just be as quick as you can," Axel asked as he wakes Fulario up by shaking him. Fulario finally woke up and then pans around the scene to see that he was asleep.

He said, "Ah, sorry about that. I fell asleep. How long was I asleep?" Fulario asked Axel who is the one that woke him up.

"Just a few minutes. No big deal since we're not going just yet," Axel said as he stands up and walks over to watch over the kids.

"Wait. Let me go with you, your taste of fashion is trash and I can't let you wear something that can easily draw attention. Especially since we're going into a high-class District," she said as she looks at him with an almost threatening gaze.

"Uhm, ok then. Well, I'm gonna go now," he said as he turns around and went back into the row of shops while waving his hand backwards, Mirin quickly followed behind him.

"So, then. What happened while you guys were at the shop? Were both of them nice? Did any of them hurt you anywhere?" Axel said as he now looks at the group of kids that are now together again with him. Fulario took off his monocle and wiped his eyes for a bit before standing up as well to stand next to Axel.

Many responses were coming from the kids, they seemed excited and happy, some of the audible ones are, "They were very nice!", "I like that uncle!", "That aunt was also nice!", "Not just that, Sophie was also looking out for us!" when they heard the words that came from the kids, both Axel and Fulario were happy.

Meanwhile, Wyatt and Mirin is currently walking together towards one of the shops when Mirin asked him, "So, where is this cloth shop? Is it that one?" she asked in a confused tone as she points at one of the shops.

"Uh, I guess? I didn't really asked what was the name for the shop," he said in an equally confused tone as he looks at her and she looks back at him.

"Goddamit, Wyatt. Let's just get inside that one and pick whatever we can that fits you," she said in a pissed tone as she walks ahead of him to enter inside. A few seconds later, she came back out and tugged him inside with her face still showing a hint of angriness.

'Oh, no. Here it is again. I bet she's just embarrassed and confused to walk inside all alone in an unfamiliar place,' he thought to himself as he effortlessly walks along her inside the cloth shop.

"Right. Let's see what kind of clothes fits you the best around here," she said as she have a hint of excitement in her eyes.

"Alright~ let's find some clothes~" Wyatt replied in a sarcastic tone that seemed to mock Mirin's excitement.

Mirin promtly looked at him in the eyes and he startled at her action. He begins to have cold sweat running down his spine. A few seconds passed but it felt like years when he got a cold sweat running down his spine, he freezes in place. His mind screams, "Don't move!!" as he looked at the scary person right in front of him. She then sighed as she starts to walk around inside the shop. Wyatt gave a sigh of relief as he follows behind her while also looking for clothes.

As both of them searched for clothes, Axel, Fulario, and Sophie are guarding the group of kids who are happy from their little trip to the shop and the pleasant experience that is much more different than what they just experienced a few hours ago. The people around them continues their activities as time passes by.
