Rangiku Matsumoto arrived at the scene, her eyes widening in disbelief. Standing before Byakuya was a figure that defied logic Hisana, his deceased wife and Rangiku's childhood friend. The shock was palpable, a shared sense of unreality hanging in the air.
As if the situation couldn't get any more surreal, Kisuke Urahara materialized, his ever-present fan failing to mask his astonishment. He, too, recognized the woman before them as Hisana, a friend from his own past.
Their reverie was shattered by the sudden appearance of Hollows. Three hulking beasts and two crawling, lesser Hollows lunged toward Hisana, their intent clear. Instinct took over, and Uryū, Ichigo, Rukia, Orihime, and Chad sprang into action, engaging the Hollows to protect her.
Amidst the chaos, Hisana's voice echoed in Kisuke's mind, a telepathic plea that resonated with a familiar warmth. "Kisuke, transport us to the Soul Society battlefield." The sound of her voice, after so many years, stunned him into momentary inaction.
Snapping out of his stupor, Kisuke complied, his Zanpakuto releasing a surge of energy that enveloped the group. In an instant, they were gone, transported to the familiar, yet alien, landscape of the Soul Society's training grounds.
The shift in scenery was jarring, but the Hollows remained their immediate threat. As the battle intensified, the captains of the Gotei 13 arrived, drawn by the commotion and the overwhelming spiritual pressure. They, too, were met with the impossible sight of Hisana, fighting alongside those who defended the Human World.
The combined might of the Soul Reapers and their allies quickly turned the tide, and the Hollows were vanquished. But as the last Hollow fell, a bolt of lightning descended from the sky, striking Ynno directly.
Reacting instinctively, Hisana unleashed a final surge of spiritual energy, obliterating the last remnants of the Hollows. She then erected a protective barrier, shielding everyone on the field from the residual energy of the blast.
Uryū cried out in alarm, rushing toward his brother. Ynno collapsed, unconscious, the antique mirror shattering into countless pieces around him.
Byakuya moved with unnatural speed, catching Ynno before he hit the ground. He cradled the fallen figure in his arms, his senses reeling. He inhaled deeply, seeking confirmation, a scent, anything that would confirm the impossible.
Ynno stirred, his eyes fluttering open. He looked up at Byakuya, a faint smile gracing his lips. "Protect this man, Byakuya," he whispered, his voice fading into silence. Then, Ynno went limp, his body still against Byakuya's.
The weight of Unohana's words settled heavily upon the assembled captains. The possibility of Hisana's reincarnation was a concept that challenged the very foundations of Soul Society's understanding of life and death.
Inside the medical bay, Byakuya remained steadfast by Ynno's side, his stoic facade momentarily shattered. He clutched Ynno's hand, his silent vigil a testament to the love he had carried for so long.
Days turned into nights, and Ynno remained trapped in his comatose state. Uryū visited his brother constantly, his guilt and worry growing with each passing hour. He blamed himself for Ynno's condition, for failing to protect him from the dangers he had unknowingly been exposed to. He often found Byakuya at Ynno's bedside, a silent sentinel guarding the fragile life that lay before him.
Then, one morning, a flicker of hope. Ynno's eyes fluttered open. He sat up slowly, his brow furrowed in confusion. He glanced around the unfamiliar surroundings, his mind struggling to grasp where he was. "Not again," he muttered, a hint of exasperation in his voice as he rubbed his forehead. "Wrong apartment, again."
Ynno, still disoriented, climbed out of bed and began to wander through the unfamiliar corridors. He was met with curious stares from the Soul Reapers who passed him, their expressions a mixture of awe and disbelief. They bowed respectfully, addressing him as "Lady Hisana," further adding to his confusion.
Growing increasingly uneasy, Ynno continued his aimless journey, his heart pounding with a sense of unease. He rounded a corner and collided with a group of Soul Reapers, sending them sprawling. Among them, his eyes widened in recognition, was Uryū.
Ynno, still bewildered, stiffened in Uryū's arms. He was about to question his brother when a powerful hand grasped his arm, pulling him away. He turned to see Byakuya, his expression unreadable, his grip firm.
Byakuya pulled Ynno close, his eyes searching his face. The moment was electric, charged with unspoken emotions and a connection that transcended words.
Ynno recoiled from Byakuya's sudden embrace, his eyes wide with alarm. "Whoa, hey! What's going on?" he stammered, struggling against the man's grip. "Who are you people? Where am I?"
Uryū stepped forward, his expression a mixture of relief and concern. "Ynno, it's me, Uryū. Your brother."
Ynno stared at Uryū, his brow furrowed in confusion. "Brother? I don't have a brother," he said, shaking his head. "I think I would know if I had a brother."
Byakuya's grip tightened on Ynno's arm, his eyes narrowed. "He speaks the truth," Byakuya said, his voice low and commanding. "He has no memory of his past."
The surrounding Soul Reapers watched in stunned silence, unsure of how to react. The situation was spiraling out of control, the delicate balance of hope and disbelief threatening to shatter.
"Past? What are you talking about?" Ynno demanded, his voice rising in frustration. "I just woke up in some weird place, and now you're telling me I have a brother and a past I don't remember? This is insane!"
He tried to pull away from Byakuya again, but the man's grip was unyielding. "You are in the Soul Society," Byakuya said, his voice softening slightly. "And you are more than you realize."
"Soul Society? What is that, some kind of cult?" Ynno scoffed, his eyes darting around the unfamiliar surroundings. "Look, I don't know who you people are or what you want, but I want to go home."
He looked at Uryū, his expression pleading. "Please, tell me what's going on. Why does this guy keep calling me Hisana? Who is Hisana?"
Uryū hesitated, his heart aching for his brother. He knew that revealing the truth to Ynno would be a monumental task, one that could shatter his already fragile sense of identity. But he also knew that he couldn't keep the truth from him forever.
"Ynno," Uryū began, his voice gentle, "there's a lot you don't know. But we're here to help you. Just trust us, okay?"
Ynno looked from Uryū to Byakuya, his eyes filled with suspicion and fear. He didn't know these people, he didn't understand this place, and he had no idea what was happening to him. But he knew one thing: he wanted to get out of here, and he wanted to get out now.
