In America, Ohio precisely, deep in the woods, a thousand year ago or there about, there lived a pack of wolves who dwelled in the territory of the wolf hunters.
They were only able to live with them because of a deal that both parties had agreed on. Thankfully, a lady who was associated with both parties that brought them together.
As of that time the vampires were terrorizing and murdering the humans. When the humans tried to fight back, it brought more harm to them.
The current governor did not have any other choice than to listen to the idea which one of the members of the wolf hunter had brought forth to him. The name of that member was Natasha.
"The only way we can defeat these vampires is by joining forces with the wolves. For a very long time, we have been hearing stories of how the wolves easily defeated the vampires, so why don't we ask for their help," she suggested to the governor.
Williams Blake, the current governor looked at her as he thought deeply about what she had just said.
"How can I ask them for help, when I am the same person that ordered for their lives to not be spared? I do not think that they will be ready to help us after all we have made them go through."
Natasha laughed a little, before she spoke. "You do not have to worry about that, the only City that is conducive for them is ours. If we offer to let them stay in our space, then they would be more than willing to do anything we ask of them. Besides, vampires and wolves are long time enemies. If the vampires happen to destroy all of us and take over the city, then the remaining wolves will have no choice than to leave."
"Do you really think they will agree?" The governor asked her, in his eyes anyone could detect the hope he had in them.
"Yes, I do," she replied. "But you have to make sure that you fulfill the promise that you will make to them. You have to make sure that no one tortures them or tries to ruin their lives in this city," she added.
"As long as they save our lives from those blood sucking demons, then I do not mind letting them live among us," he replied.
She smiled at him. "Very well then. I'll proceed to their park, to have a discussion with their alpha," she said.
"I do not understand what you mean," the governor said, looking very confused. "You would not understand, I'm a wolf hunter and so I happen to know a lot about them."
"Ok miss Natasha. Thank you for this great idea if yours, I will reward you if this plan of yours really keeps us alive."
"I will be expecting my reward from you governor, because I am a hundred percent sure that it will work."
Governor William's POV
I thought deeply about what theady had said to me, I needed to make sure that I wasn't making a wrong decision.
After giving it a great thought, I saw that there was nothing wrong with my decision. Having to let them live among us was not even enough to appreciate them.
The vampires from the short experience we've had, are very wicked creatures. Only a week of encountering them, we had lost nearly a quarter of Michigan's residents.
I hoped that Natasha's plan would really work out. I wanted to give the people hope by letting them know about this new plan but the wolf hunter girl had requested that I kept it within myself, for the meantime.

Natasha's POV
I smiled as I walked out of the governor's mansion. I did not expect that I would easily convince him about this.
Even though I was a wolf hunter, I still knew my duties as a wolf's mate. Yes, that is my true identity.
I did not have any idea that I was going to be mated to a wolf, when I had become a wolf hunter.
I knew what I was doing was very risky, being a wolf hunter but still having closing relationships with the wolves.
There was nothing for me to feel bad about because I had never wanted to be a wolf hunter, this was just my ugly circumstance.
My ancestors were wolf hunters, so it was more like a covenant made by them, that every first daughter or first son in their offspring would be a wolf hunter. I would not have accepted to follow that path but when I had the repercussions of going against the oath, I became a bit frightened.
My grand father told me that whoever went against the oath would use his or her life as an atonement. At first I didn't believe his words but when he told me that my mom had died because of that same reason, I knew that I did not have any other choice than to join the wolf hunting group.
Two years in the hunting group didn't really cause me much, even though I still made sure that I didn't dare harm any wolf. As of that time I did not really know why I couldn't bring myself to hurt them, but as time went on I realized that a part of me belonged to the wolf specie. Besides, when I was still little, I was kind of intrigued by werewolf stories. I loved the way they were usually described, I loved the way they transformed into the forms they wanted.
When the vampires began to attack, I knew that there was no way I could get harmed because my mate was over protective of me. I didn't know how he managed to do that but whenever I happened to get int the slightest trouble, he always appeared from God knows where, to rescue me.
He also protected me from his own species. It was actually when I got into trouble that him and I had met.
