I took off my white laboratory coat and handed it to him so he could at least cover his lower body. I couldn’t take him out of here without clothes.
He didn’t bother to say anything like a thank you or whatnot but took the coat from me and silently wrapped it around his body.
The guards standing outside the laboratory glanced at me with surprise and confusion as I led him quietly to my room. They watched me with hawk eyes, I was sure they were wondering if to follow me or stay put. But the look in my eyes instructed them to do the latter.
We got to the small but tidied room allocated to me and I showed him the bathroom and let him have his bath first then went out to order some food for him while he was still in the bathroom.
