"Now, Ethan is even giving up his inheritance in the Silverfang Pack for you. Both my sons have fallen under your spell. You're quite the strategist, aren't you?"
I was sitting in Ethan's arms when Luna Vivienne suddenly laughed. It was a cold, cruel sound.
"Look at this perfect match," she said with fake sweetness, glancing at Alpha Kane. "Aria, dear, you're such a... unique girl. Living all alone, no pack to support you, struggling to make it on your own. It must be so hard, cutting ties with your family like that."
Her voice stayed sweet, but her eyes were full of poison. "And our dear Ethan has always been so... independent too. Always felt a bit out of place, haven't you, sweetheart? I suppose people who don't quite fit in do tend to find each other."
