CRYSTALS POV The way he stared into my eyes made me almost melt. There was so much evection in his eyes. But why would he care about me? It is not like he knows me; I mean we are complete strangers to each other and today was the first time I have seen him around school. But I didn't want to let him go for some reason. I wanted to have him near me; I wanted to him to stay. I sit back onto the couch and pull the quilt over me. His calone is still in the air and it is over throwing my senses making me smile to myself as I take in his smell. It has a calming effect to my senses. My mother returns a few minutes later and sits next to me before turning towards me. "He seems like a nice young man?" I don't answer her question. I know it is rude and all but that is like sticking my head into a beehive if I answer that question. She will only read into it more than is needed and I don't need that right now. Not looking to make conversation about him I looked at the food still left on the table and decided I will rather fill my mouth with this delicious food. There is so much food here enough to feed an army to be exact. But the perfect distraction. The fried rice type of dish seems appetizing. If the aroma is any indicator it will taste as good as it looks. Not wasting a second I take a fork-full and stuff it into my mouth. As soon as the food touches my tong my taste buds goes crazy. It got to be a sin to have food taste this amazing. "So what do you want to do tonight honey? We can always watch a movie like we use to." she suggested. I'm just glad she dropped the Kellan and what happened at school subject. So I welcome this distraction. "Sure I'm in the mood for a good comedy while eating some of this food." "Okay honey sounds like a plan. Let me just go and change into some more comfortable clothes. You can start looking what we can watch." It's been a while since we did a movie night where we just laugh our asses off and forgot the world around us. Whit her new work and all she is quite busy. I do understand that she has to work but I miss my best friend/ mom time. I scroll through the channels landing on twilight it's an all-time favourite of mine. It's not exactly a comedy but you still laugh in parts of the movie. My mother comes back with two pillows and changed into some sweat pants and lose fitted shirt. "Ooo, twilight. I do like me some Robert Patterson time." My mother swoons. That has me cracking up at her enthusiasm over the actor and her giving me a stink eye, before she burst out laughing with me. I have always been more of a Jacob fan. The vampire thing doesn't appeal to me. I mean they can enjoy food and they are always cold. I like my food to much to not be able to eat it. "Mom that's so gross."I groan after my laughing fit. "Oh, hush his sexy even without the sparkles and glitter. He can rock my world anytime of the day or night and I will gladly help him out do Emmet and Rosalie's mile stone of the loudest sex."before she could finish that sentence I had my hands over my ears trying to stop that image from forming in my head. I swear sometimes I'm the mature one around here. Don't get me wrong I know all about the birds and bees and how the reproductive system works. But I do not and mean don not want to have the picture of my mother having s*x in my mind. That is just gross. "Mom please stop. I don't want that image in my head. It's just wrong and not to mention mentally scaring me."She just rolls her eyes at me before cuddling up on the other side of me on the couch. I hit play and start the movie while looking through the food on the table. My mother does the same settling on some stuffed chicken with butter fried greenbeans and garlic bread. By the second movie my mother went to her room calling it a night. I soon followed but not before putting the food away. I'm not one to waste food because that is just wrong because some people don't have even food to eat tonight. I have to make 3 trips from the living room the kitchen to put everything away. Even though we ate throughout the movie we didn't even make a dent in the stack of food. Who in the world buys this much food? After that I head to my room and stripping out of today's clothes and throwing on some pj's before crashing on my bed. Bring the comforter up to under my chin and slowly drifting of after an exhausting day. I only have one thought as the darkness creeps up on me and that is the bright green eyes of my saviour. The next morning I woke up with the bright light of the sun coming in through the curtains. I forgot to close them last night apparently. Groaning I roll over to my side away from the window. I tired snuggling in deeper into my comfort but my body had a mind of his own and I needed to pee. Huffing a breath of air out I throw of the comforter and swing my legs over the edge of the bed standing up. I had to take a double step because my head started to spin before making my way to the bathroom to relive my bladder. After doing my business I washed my hands before walking back to my room. Standing in the doorway of my room I take a moment to remember that I don't have to go out so there is no need for me to change what I'm wearing. I decided to go to the kitchen and get something to eat before I have to take the medicine the nurse said I should take. I walk bare foot the fridge but stopped to look at the note left on it. On the fridge door is a note from mom telling me to rest and take the medicine and that she is sorry she can't stay with me. I open the fridge and scan my eyes on its contents before deciding on the left over chicken with roasted potatoes. I take them out and place them on a plate before heating it up in the microwave. Once the timer goes off I take the heated food out placing it on the counter before taking a seat in the bar stool. The food was amazing. I didn't know I was that hungry until I took the first bite. That was by far the best tasting chicken I ever had. I took my plate over to the sink washing it before placing everything on the drying rake to dry. I got myself a glass of orange juice and walk to the living room. The medicine is on the coffee table from the night before. My head is starting to hurt a bid. After throwing back the medicine I took a big gulp washing it down. With nothing else to do I lay down on the couch and started flipping through the TV channels trying to find something to watch. I settle on a comedy before settling in on the couch, making myself as comfortable as possible. Half way through the movie my eyes started to drop close as drowsiness sets in.
