Edward walked up to Dorothy and whispered in her ear, "Things got bad, Joshua led the hunters to the lab and told everyone that you were the one behind it all. No one believes you anymore." Dorothy felt a gentle breath caress her ears. This intimate moment felt like a lover confiding to his beloved.
Dorothy turned her head away and showed Edward a very disgusted look. She hated him coming up to her like that. The closer Edward was to her, the more she could not bear to look at his neck, face, and eyes. Keeping herself from kissing him was getting harder and harder as well. She clearly felt attracted to him. This feeling of being out of control was foreign to her. After the matter with Joshua was resolved, she really needed to find a way to dissolve her relationship with him.
