Dorothy shuddered, feeling all self-control leave her. Her body slumped in Edward's arms, unable to get up again. The place where Edward's cool tongue had touched was red hot and her face flushed with inextinguishable heat. At this moment, the little deer barked in a soft manner and it twisted its body around uncomfortably. The deer had trouble getting out, since it was tightly entangled by the liana. The mood of their shared moment dissipated and Dorothy quickly left Edward's arms soon after. The tips of Edward’s ears were pink. He moved quickly to help Dorothy untie the rest of the vines that were still around her body. After that, Dorothy sat up uncomfortably. She pulled out the Bowie knife and neatly helped free the fawn from the liana's shackles. After the deer regained its freedom
