His possessiveness was now mixed with anger and something dark that I couldn’t pinpoint. “Let’s start.” He spoke and went towards the control panel. “You will run for fifteen minutes. Try to stay calm, control your breathing. Concentrate on your pulse and the rhythm of your feet.” He instructed me coldly while doing something on the control panel. I listened to every instruction carefully. It wasn’t just about running. It was about controlling my emotions. He looked at me, and I climbed the treadmill again. After grabbing the handrails, I looked at the screen, and my eyes widened.
