I had swooped Tia, running as fast as I could. I glanced back periodically, and spotted the beasts. They were about five foot in height and were indeed chasing after us. I ran faster and faster, I could now see the beginning of the forest. My heart was pounding in my chest and I could hear Tia's heart as it galloped inside her. I was almost out of the forest when I spotted a figure leap from our side towards us. The beast would have probably gotten us but I was faster. I leapt about ten feet into the air.
