My Twin Alphas

Chapter One

Riding in the back as my mom is in the front seat and my step-dad is driving. I never thought Tim would let us go back to help my grandmother. Since she had gotten sick, my mom has been begging to go back. When I say go back, it is back to my mom's pack. She left when I was little, not even five years old yet. She left after my father was fighting to protect the Blue Moon Pack. He was killed by a rogue. My mom met Tim a few years later. I never liked him. We never get alone. Just the way he talks to my mom drives me into a rage. We have gotten into a lot of fights over the years. I know my mom is scared of being alone, but to me, being alone is better than being with him.

As we pull into the Blue Moon Pack, the guards stop the car. They check our names, making sure we were allowed to even come in. I stayed looking out the car window letting them handle it. I only have one more year before I graduate. One more year of having to deal with everything that happens behind closed doors. Maybe it will be better now that we are going to stay with my grandmother. I am 18 already, but I still have one more year of school. Once being cleared. The car started to move again. Blue Moon is the largest pack in the world. It is run by Two Alphas. I hear they are twins. Driving up the mountain you can see the pack house at the top. My grandmother's home sat on the side of the mountain. It is a nice two-story home, painted dark gray with black shudders, flowers everywhere. She is sitting on the porch in a rocking chair. Once the car came to a stop, we all got out. I was the first one to hug my grandmother. My mom stays by Tim. You can see his hold on her hip. I pulled back from the hug, looking down at her. She has lost a lot of weight. I held back my tears, not wanting to upset her. "I am so happy you are here," she tells me. "Me to Nanna, it looks just how I remember," I answered her back.

"Mom, we have finally made it." I hear my mom say coming up behind her. I moved out of her way and started to make my way to the front door. "Come in, come in. Let me show you to your rooms. You can get settled in, and I already have dinner ready," my grandmother says, walking into the house. She looks happy showing us what room we will be in. Once seeing my room, I saw most of my stuff had already arrived. I was thankful for that. I went outside to get the two bags I had for the trip here. I wanted to get everything put away before I had to start my last year of school. I was told I had to go to the school that they have here on the pack land. Once I had finished, I went downstairs to eat with everyone. Tim was standing off to the side of the kitchen as he ate his food. My mom was talking to my Nanna. They were waiting for me. I see Tim was not waiting for anyone. He looked at me with hate in his eyes as I took a seat at the table.

"So Nanna, is it true we have two Alphas now?" I asked her. "Yes, it is true they run the pack together. There has been less war with them in charge. They are strong Alphas. They have not found their Luna's yet. I hear they are going to be teaching at your school." My mom cut her off and asked, "Teaching what Alpha teaches. Do they even have the time?" My Nanna replied, "When they have pack meetings or stuff they need it will be a substitute teacher. So Chloe, you will get to meet them tomorrow." I just smiled at her. I am already nervous about being new, the last year of school is already going to be hard. Now the Alphas are teaching. I am going to keep my head down and not bring trouble. That is the last thing I need. The rest of the conversation was lighter. We talked about the drive there and getting movers. Once we all finished, I did the dishes, so my grandmother could go lay down. She was looking very tired. I take a shower to wash the day away. The hot water feels amazing after being in the car for so long. Coming out of the bathroom, I could hear Tim and my mom yelling outside the house. I just shake my head and am thankful they are not waking up my grandmother. I get ready for bed, lay down and lay down to watch a show on my phone. I have been getting into the Vampire diaries. I think it is funny if you think about it, being a wolf and enjoying a Vampire show. I watch it as I start to fall asleep.
