Chapter Three: AlphaPercival, the traitor, moves into the house first. He sinks into the couch and settles there with an expectant look in his eyes. She knows she's supposed to walk over and join him, but she doesn't want to go in yet. The whole house smells like the Alpha and it's a little bit scary.
She feels warm all over already.
"Come in, Kitten," Alpha Joshua rumbles, drawing her attention away from Percival. There's that same hungry look in his eyes that she recognizes because Percival looks at her like that all the time.
