Chapter Five: Good KittenThe first time he gets her, he spends a long time just observing the little Cat Shifter, sitting in the same room as hers without making a move, waiting for her to get used to his scent, his presence around her.
She had been delivered to his home promptly after he had agreed to the alliance and he asked for her to be placed in his room. It isn't that he doesn't trust his packmates to overstep and take advantage of her. He doesn't know what to expect himself and think it safest to keep her closer to his side.
He had expected something smaller, a little cat perhaps, a ball of fur in a crate, not this.
He isn't sure if he's made the right decision yet. He enjoys owning things, but she is not a thing. She's a living creature. Mostly human.
