Luckily even after rescheduling the meeting, Lira Kane, one of New York’s most sought after freelancer and editor finally agreed to a meeting which is shocking because she rarely agrees to meetings. Another weird thing is that she wants us to meet in a coffee shop instead of the meeting room in my company.
My assistant, Kade, and I are in front of the coffee shop where she’s already waiting for me. I turn to Kade who’s behind the wheels. “Thanks for the drive. After this, I am going to head home so there’s no need to wait.”
He nods, jaw tight. “I’ll probably drive home after I am done testing the demo of this new game. It’s surprising that she agreed to do a meeting with you, maybe she fell in love with you when she searched you up.”
