The black wolf's eyes widened after seeing the blood splattering on the ground. It looked at the dark red blood o the ground like it was something fascinating. It was stunned for a moment before looking at Nathaniel who had jumped back a few meters away from the monster.
Nathaniel was holding the big open wound in his chest and winced. t hurt like hell! Nathaniel felt like he as just been skinned alive from that one attack. It wasn't deep enough to kill him immediately but it was still a threatening wound that if ignored then it would cause too much blood loss.
In just a single attack, the tables had turned in favor of the monster. Nathaniel was smart enough to know that he was at a disadvantage.
