Dunstan put Aria down beside a tree and went back to the edge of the cliff. He got the walkie-talkie from his pocket and put it near his mouth, and turned it on.
“Deputy Manager Hero.”
Dunstan called out to the other side of the line and waited for a response. A static sound came from the walkie-talkie before he heard Deputy Manager Hero’s voice.
“Yes, Chairman?”
Dunstan looked down where Nathaniel and the others were polishing their weapons and fixing their equipment while they awaited his orders, and then looked back at Aria, who was looking back at him. She nodded her head and smiled weakly.
“I’m ready at any time, Chairman.”
