The second we crossed the threshold of the house, Brandon and I had a massive, screaming blowout. He kept harping on about how I was getting "way too cozy" with Nicholas. He actually had the audacity to say that since we weren't legally divorced yet, even if I was trying to get back at him with a rebound, I didn't need to look so desperate. I felt like he was totally overstepping. "Brandon," I snapped, "did you forget our little agreement to stay out of each other's business? Who I hang out with is none of your damn business. And honestly, if we're keeping score, you and Sharon have done way worse." Even if something was going on between Nicholas and me, Brandon was the one who pushed me to it. Why does he get to screw around while expecting me to play the loyal, obedient wife at home?
