Chapter 26I was driving into Wills’s snug, willing passage when the house phone rang. “Let the answering machine pick up,” I panted. We’d been getting a lot of telemarketers lately, and it had made me so absolutely crazy that Wills had taken the matter in hand. He’d let them introduce themselves and start their spiel, and then he would repeat their name and run with it. “How have you been? This is such an awesome coincidence! Don’t you remember me?
