AVELINA’S POV The sunset spills over Rome like it’s a warning. The orange-colored sky shifts to bruised purple as though the city itself is bracing for the dangers ahead, a night filled with betrayals, harsh truths and traps set by our enemies. Allessandro stands by the window as he watches the streets below, restless since the voice note was sent. I notice his shoulders were tense beneath his shirt. Each breath he took felt like a countdown to destruction. I feel it too. And tonight, something will change. Someone will break. Someone will fall. Someone will reveal their true self.
