Adjusting

My grandmother passed away wen I was 16 and she left me money and the house and the girl who lived next door, We got along very well since we were the same age but I was a little older I was born July 12 and she was born August 12

so I was exactly 1 month older but we acted like we were twins cause we had a similar complexion, same face shape, same type of African-American hair and nationality, so we acted very much alike so you would never know who is who unless we talked.

Since we were minors so we need an adult until we were 18 so Alicia had an cousin that was 20years of age. I was chill about it but when a muscular, around 6"5 man walked in through the front door in a read t-shirt and jeans with his luggage I almost fainted.

He had big blue gorgeous eyes that shimmer when you look at his face, he had a face as if he was a model for vouge, I couldn't believe my eyes when one saw him. He came up to me and said" I'm Alex Campbell and I'm Sonia's cousin", as I tried to talk with out stuttering Sonia came through the back door and ran and hugged him, I can't say I wasn't mad but I couldn't say anything cause it was my place to say.

As I still tried to say something with out stuttering Sonia asked if he wanted dinner, it was about 7pm at this time, I had prepared mashed potatoes, fry chicken and baked a chocolate cake earlier so Sonia set the table and I brought the food in the dinning room, Alex looked surprised when he saw the food but even more surprised when he tasted the food he stuttered in shock at what a 16 year old could do, he said " wh-wh-what an exceptional dish this would go lovely in my restaurant " I asked if he ran a restaurant he said yes he own a lot of restaurants which are called "spices galore",

we talked a lot about the restauant and he hired me as a basic chef in the restauant and I could work after school I was old enough for a part time job so I said yes.

few weeks later

Alex ain't have gotten real close but it didn't stop me from me goal from the beginning. To kill the killer who killed my family. my birthday was in 3 days and I completely forgot cause I was busy, but nothing could stop Alex and Sonia to keep a surprised party for me, I'm so grateful to people in my life that love me as much as my parents did I miss them every day, I had the best day in a long while, we had so much fun that afternoon I might not have a biological family but Sonia and Alex are the best 2 people that could have came in to my life right now.

I had made a g**g in community that we go out in neighboring communities and take over but never really caused trouble but who can't say the worst is yet to come.
