"Hey, you haven't talked to him about it yet?" It was lunchtime when Faye plopped down across from me, her tray loaded with food. I stared at her, totally lost in what she meant.
"Who are you talking about?" I asked, taking a sip of my medium-fat milk and scanning the room for Kaden. Where was he, anyway?
"Come on, it's Kaden! Seriously?" Faye exclaimed, shoving a piece of pizza into her mouth. I looked at her, my expression a mix of confusion and disbelief.
I shrugged and took another sip of my drink, which was starting to taste pretty dull since Kaden was still MIA.
"Oh my God, Candice! The kiss, of course!" She suddenly blurted out. "You haven't asked him to kiss you yet? We're about to graduate high school, and you've never been kissed?"
