38 I grabbed for my mobile. Sean’s going to be so mad. Really mad. My thumb hovered over the buttons, yet I didn’t dial. In my rear-view mirror, the following werewolves reflected back at me. The driver watched the road, while the front passenger met my attention in the mirror. He no doubt saw the fear in my eyes. It had to be there—my heart beat like a bass drum, my breaths arrived high-pitched. My predicament did not look good. Twenty minutes to reach Sean.
