THE DELAY OF THE JOURNEY increased our frustration. As soon as the car stopped, we leaped out, Sean locking it with the remote as we jogged. Kissing me at the door, he fumbled blindly, dropping the keys twice and cursing between laughter, until we were inside. We fell over as we reached the stairs, our hands already attempting to undress each other. In the end, Sean lifted me and raced up the steps. “Bathroom,” I breathed.
