Chapter 5

Darren’s P.O.V

After my hot shower I just laid cross the bed looking at the ceiling. I guess I really zoned out because I didn’t hear Charnelle come into the room. 

“Hello Darren!! Are you evening listening to me right now.” She said as she hit me on the chest, bringing me out of my dazed.

“Ouch women that hurts. And no I wasn’t listening to you at all now what do you want?” I said to her.

“Rude much, anyway I want to knock the wall down so we can have an adjoining room to the next door.” She said to me while sitting on the bed with me. 

“No.” I said. I could tell that she was not getting use to being told no in her life.

“Excuse me what did you say?” She asked.

“No we are not knocking that wall down so end of discussion.” I said to her as I gotten up from the bed and walked to the closet to find some clothes to put on for the day. 

“You can’t be serious right now are you?” Charnelle asked from the doorway of the closet.

“Yes I’m very serious right now Nelle. We can bring up this discussion in about three months from now.” I said to her. Charnelle just looked at me like I was crazy. 

“In three more months she will be four months old Darren like seriously. Ugh! You are tripping right now its just a simple yes Nelle we can knock the wall down. Why are you being difficult right now.” She said to me coming in the closet now.

“I said what I said Nelle now drop this conversation.” I told her as I finished drying off my back. I could still tell that Charnelle was in the closet with me. I turned around to face her and removed my towel from around my waist and watched her face turn a bright red and that she was staring at my d**k. 

“See something that you like baby girl? Eyes up here baby girl.” I  said to her as I start to walk towards her. 

“N-no I don’t see anything that I like.” She said to me as I blocked her into a corner of the closet. I picked her up and maneuver her lower half to be right at the tip of my d**k. 

I laughed. “You do realize that I can hear your heartbeat has gotten faster and smell that you use gotten aroused right?” I said to her. 

Charnelle’s P.O.V

What in the world was happening right now like this was not supposed to be how the conversation went down right now at all. I thought to myself.

Hmm that's not how he sees it at all love. Carmen said to me as I tried to think of a way for Darren to put me down. After I finished my conversation with Carmen I receive a other mindlink for Sasha.

Hey Nelle, Chloe is hungry girl what is taking you so long over there.

I'm coming Sasha hmm, just give me 10 more minutes please. But her milk and water should be on her nightstand near the rocking chair.  I told Sasha quickly focusing myself back to my current situation at hand. I looked at Darren in the eyes and struggled to get out of his hold.

"Darren I need you to put me down I need to go feed Chloe right now." I said to him as I kept pulling myself away from his body.

"Are you sure you need to feed her or you are just trying to get away from me?" Darren asked as he place me back on the ground. 

"Both" I said as I quickly brushed passed him to leave the closet and the bedroom all together. Outside of the bedroom I had to catch my breath. Walking towards Chloe’s nursery I could hear her little cry’s coming from the room, as I entered the room I could see Sasha trying to get her to calm down while Nicole was making the bottle for her. 

“Aww you guys while make some great aunties and mommies one day but give me my baby so I can get her calm please.” I said to Sasha, once Chloe realized that I had her in my arms she started to relax and I took the bottle from Nicole and sat in the rocking chair, started to feed her. Once Chloe was done eating she went to sleep I put her in her bassinet and ushered the girls out of the room. 

“Let’s go get something to eat.” Nicole said to us.

“Hell yeah I’m starving, and Nelle you are cooking.”

“What why do I have to cook for I cooked last night.” I said to them.

“Umm you get us in trouble with our mates, so you owe us boo.” Nicole said as we entered the kitchen. In the kitchen we could see all the guys were in there snacking on some chips. 

“What are you ladies up to now.” Nick asked as we entered the kitchen.

“We are hungry and Nelle is going to cook for us today.” Sasha said as she give my brother a kissed and a hug.

“Hmm is that so sis I definitely want a plate of what you are about to cook.” Maurice and Chris said to me. 

“Sure fine but can I have some space to work and can someone go get me Chloe’s baby monitor I forgot it upstairs.” I asked them.

“I will go get it for your Nelle.” Nick said to me as he left the kitchen. Once Nick returned with the baby monitor, I turned the volume up on it and then took out my phone and headphones out and start my music as I prepared lunch for everyone.

“Oh yeah this meal is going to be banging.” Nicole as she walked out of the kitchen with Chris right behind her.

“What makes you think that this meal is going to be banging.” Chris asked looking back at the kitchen. 

“Because when she puts her music on she is in her own little world, and she creates a feast.” Sasha said as they entered the living room with everyone watching television.

I was working in the kitchen for about three hours when I finally put the finished touches on the food. I was really feeling my music when I started dancing to “Drop It Low by Latruth” I was getting in the grove that I didn’t realize that Damien and Darren was in the standing in the doorway of the kitchen until I heard Chloe cries over the baby monitor. I quickly turned to face the door to head to check on Chloe.

“Geez how long was you two standing there for?” I asked them. As I washed my hands and walked towards them to go upstairs.

“Long enough that’s for sure.” Damien said to me as he watched my every move. 

“Ok glad you liked the show that’s for sure.” I said to them as I took two steps at a time. Once in Chloe room I picked her up and changed her diaper and feed her once more and had some more bonding time with her. While bonding with Chloe I received a mindlink from my mom.

Hey baby girl, lets try for training tomorrow morning ok? My mom said to me.

Sure thing mom I will be there bright and early. Is it to early to get pictures done for Chloe or should I wait for other week or so?

I don’t think its too early for her to get some pictures done. 

Great I’m going to go to the mall today to set them up for her and I have so many outfits for her to try on. Mom I have to go now, I will stop by later tonight with her so she can meet dad.

Ok baby girl I will see you soon. I love you baby girl.

After finished up my talk with my mom and finished feeding Chloe and carried her downstairs with me so that I could eat with everyone.

“I thought you guys would be eating right now?” I asked them.

“Damien and Darren said we had to wait for you, glad you brought Chloe down with you. Besides the guys keep trying to sneak food while you was upstairs.” Sasha said to me while she took Chloe’s bassinet from me and placed it in the dinner room with us. 

“Thanks for waiting for me.” I said to everyone as I placed Chloe in her bassinet and sat between the twins. After lunch  everyone cleared the table and placed everything in the kitchen sink. I mindlink the omegas that works in the kitchen and asked them to put everything up and what couldn’t fit that they could have to take home to eat. While sitting in the living room with the girls I went ahead and told them that I was taking Chloe to the mall to take some pictures to hang up in her nursery.

“So I was thinking about taking Chloe to the mall to have some pictures done of her for her room. Do you guys want to come with us?”

“Hell yeah we are coming with you duh.” Nicole said to me.

“Right we are not letting you two go to the mall without us Nelle.” Sasha said to me while leaving the living room.

“Where are you two going now?” I asked them.

“To get our stuff and then you can go get Chloe’s outfits for her pictures and we will sit with her.” They said to me.

While waiting for the girls to come back downstairs, Darren and Damien come into the living room as I was putting Chloe into her car seat.

“Where are you two going?” Damien asked as he started playing with Chloe’s toes in her sandals.

“Me and the girls are going to the mall to have some pictures taking for Chloe to hang up in her room.” I said to them as I was putting on my jacket and fixed my hair.

“You wasn’t going to let us know that you was going to mall with her?” Darren asked me coming up behind me.

“Hmm yeah I was going to let you guys know.” I said to him. 

“Ok chica we are ready to go.” Nicole said to me.

“Oh we didn’t interrupt anything did we?” Sasha asked with a quizzed look on her face.

“No not at all, I was just about to head to my car. Can one of you guys get her for me while I run upstairs to get her diaper bags and stuff.” I asked Damien and Darren. While going to get Chloe’s diaper bag and her clothes I could feel like I was being followed. I turned round to see Darren behind me.

“Geez you couldn’t have just have mindlink me that you was following me?” I asked him with my hands on my hips.

“I could have but what’s the fun in that? Besides I like to see you nervous when we are around each other. How long will you be at the mall anyway?”

“Hmm interesting and it should take but an hour and thirty minutes probably why do you ask.” I asked him as we aheaded downstairs. 

“I will like you and Chloe back here before sundown please.” Darren said to me. While walking towards my car the girls and Chloe was already inside.

“That’s only an hour and thirty minutes you realize that right?” 

“I do know that and I think you should hurry right?”  Darren said as he tapped my car to let me know that I could leave. 

“So what’s going on with y’all, y’all have a weird vibe going on with you three?” Sasha asked when we left the driveway of the pack house.

“It’s a long story to be honest and I really don’t know where to start.” I said to them while looking in my rear view mirror I could see that the guys was following us. 

“We have time boo so spell.” Nicole said to me while playing with Chloe.

“Fine! I saw your brother Darren d**k earlier today when I went over there to ask about knocking the wall down in Chloe room.”

“Wait! What! Charnelle tell us everything from the beginning to the end.” They said to me. After explaining what happened with Darren we finally arrived at the mall. After getting out of the car I could still see the Damien’s car was still following us. I put Chloe into her stroller and we headed into the mall. Once inside the mall we headed to the portrait innovations, while walking towards the photographer place I smelled a formal scent that I know anywhere. 

Just great what is he doing here? We need to move from this area before the guys catch him talking to us. Carmen said to me.

I agree with you Carmen, lets move. After I finished my conversation with Carmen I started to walk faster away from the smell. 

“Hey Nelle girl why are you walking so fast for girl. Slow down we have on heels girl.” Sasha said to me.

“Oh sorry I was just trying to get to the photographer because the twins want us home before dark and I also wanted to stop by my parents house so that my dad can meet Chloe that’s all girl.” I said to Sasha. I could tell that Sasha wasn’t believing my excuse right now, but before we could move any farther I smelled him again a lot closer this time.

“Little wolf I thought I smelled you here.” Travis said to me as he reached to touch my face.

“You do realized that she has mates now don’t you?” Nicole said with an attitude towards him.

“Nicole chill please both of you.” I said to them. Before I could answer him Chloe started to cry.

“Little wolf you had a baby already?” Travis asked me looking at me questionable. 

“No I found her outside of our boarders a couple of days ago. I thought you would be back home now.” I said to him.

“Hmm interesting and yes I was home but my mate wanted to come to the mall here so we are here together. She should be here shortly.” Travis said to me while looking at me and Chloe together. 

“Bae there you are! Who are you talking to?” Vanessa asked before Travis moved to the side to show her who he was talking to. 

“Charnelle what are you and your girls doing here and with a baby?” Vanessa said to me while looking at me up and down and looking at Chloe worriedly.

“I’m here to get pictures for my princess besides its a free country I can come to any mall just like you can. What are you two doing together anyway.” I asked them. 

“ You see little wolf I meet her the night of your birthday at the club that night.” Travis said to me with a mega watt of a smile looking at Vanessa.

“Bae I will be at the car please don’t be long.” Vanessa said to Travis. Vanessa quickly walked off not before she gave another glanced at Chloe before she headed in the other direction of the mall. 

“We will need to catch up and talk some more little wolf if that will be ok with your mates of course.” Travis said to me and reached out to touch Chloe’s chubby little cheeks that she cooed.

“Yeah just let me know ok.” I said to him. As I watched Travis leave I received a mindlink from Damien.

Shit! I forgot you guys was evening following us.

You forgot seriously Nelle. Go get her pictures done now! 

Quickly shaking my head I turned around and made eye contact with the twins, yeah they were mad. Walking back to the photographer store I had time for them to take an hour and thirty minute sessions with us. After the pictures the twins and the rest of the gang was standing out front of the store. 

“So how did she do.” Nicole asked when we come out of the store.

“She did great I love all the pictures they got of us. She is a natural I think modeling could be her career move.” I said as we headed to our cars. 

“Wait a moment why are the guys here anyway?” Sasha asked them.

“They was following us since we left the compound and y’all are just noticing that?” I asked them.

“You knew that they was following us since we left?” Nicole asked looking at her mate and the guys.

“Yeah I already knew that they wasn’t really going to let me out of sight for too long, but I’m starving so can we go please I want to see my parents before it gets to late for Chloe to be out.” I said to everyone as I put Chloe into the car port for her car seat. The drive back to the compound was a quick one I quickly parked my car near the pack house and put Chloe back in her stroller and headed o my parents house. 

“Let one of us know when you are leaving your parents house so we can meet you halfway to the pack house. Nelle do you understand me?” Damien said to me.

“Yes I understand Damien. Relax please I’m in the compound now you don’t have to be so overprotective right now ok?” I said to him as I started walking towards my parents house. 

“I’m serious Nelle mindlink us when you leave please.” Darren said to me.

“Ok I will geez stop worrying ok.” I said to them. While walking to my parents I mindlink my mom to let her know that I was close to the house.

Hey mommy we are close to the house are you guys home. 

Yes baby girl we are home and the front door is open.

I opened the front door of my parents to be hit with the smell of my mom cooking her famous chili instantly my stomach started to growl, I walked into the kitchen and place Chloe on the ground and gave my parent a big hug and kiss.

“We are glad to see you to baby girl. Now let me see my grand baby please so I can bond with her.” My father said to me.

“Sure daddy here she is. Her name is Chloe.” I said to my dad as I handed him Chloe. My mom passed me a bowl of her chili I sat down at the table and watched my parents bond with my daughter. After an hour at my parents Chloe started to get a little fussy letting me know it was time for bath and bed. I quickly kissed my parents again and headed for the pack house. Quickly mindlinking the twins to let them know that I was headed back to the pack house. 

Hey guys I’m on my way just letting you know.

Ok we are on the way to meet you. After waiting for five minutes I started back walking towards the pack house. Damien and Darren finally reached us, Damien took Chloe from me and Darren picked me up walked into the pack house.

“You know I could have walked right?” I said to Darren 

“I know that but you have on heels and a very tight skirt that we did not approve of at all.” Darren said to me as he pinched my butt. 

“Ouch that hurts. I didn’t think I need permission on me putting on clothes to seek your approval on them.” I said to Darren.

“Of course you need our permission from us pup.” Darren said to me. After we reached the fourth floor Darren placed me on the ground. 

“Thanks I will take her so she can have her bath and last bottle for the night.” I said to them as I entered Chloe nursery. After giving Chloe her bath and her last bottle for the night I know she would sleep though the night, I kissed her goodnight and went to my bedroom that I share with the twins. When I entered the bedroom the twins were laying on the bed looking at tv. 

Damien’s P.O.V.

“Are you going to take a shower now pup?” I asked her when she come into the room.

“Ugh! Would you two stop calling me pup. Yes I’m going to take my shower now.” She said to us with in attitude.

“Lose the attitude pup before you come back in here that’s all I’m saying.” Darren said to her. I watched her facial expression change from frustration to bashful.

“What was that all about?” I asked my brother.

“She come in here earlier when she wanted to knock the wall down and I told her no. Then she keep trying to talk about it but I flashed her now she nervous whenever she is around me.” He said to me with a chuckle.

“Damn that’s cold man. You know she can’t handle s**t like that.” I said to him.

“Yeah I know, trust me her face was like a deer in headlights that is for sure. We will definitely have to take our time with her when we decided to mate with her.” Darren said to me.

“Yeah I know that. She is definitely sleeping in the middle tonight. Do you think we should send a warrior with her when she goes out for her training again.” I asked him.

“Most definitely she is getting a warrior with her 24/7 when she is not around us. I can’t even think if something happens to her. I think she is about to get out of the shower the water has stopped running.” Darren said to me.

Charnelle’s P.O.V

I finished my shower and put my hair in a french braid, headed to the closet for some pjs and to lay out my workout clothes. I ended up putting on a cute short set with a short sleeve top. I walked into the bedroom to see the twins both sitting on the side of the bed waiting for me.

“Why are you guys sitting on the side of the bed for?” I asked them.

“We was just waiting to see what side of the bed did you want to get in on that’s all.” Darren said to me. 

“Nelle please clam your emotions and arousal because we can definitely smell you right now baby girl.” Damien said to me. 

“Sorry I can’t help it. I will just sleep on the couch or I will sleep in Chloe’s room with her tonight it that ok with you guys?” I told them as I made my way to the door.

“NO YOU WILL SLEEP HERE TONIGHT DO NOT MOVE!” Damien said to me. But I could tell that his wolf has surfaced on me. Damien moved from the bed and walked towards me, he picked me up to carry me to the bed. 

“See was that so hard to do pup.” Darren asked me with a chuckle. Darren looked at my lips and kissed me. 

“No but Damien can you get control of your wolf his grip on my arm is a little tight please.” I said to him as I made eye contact with him. I felt Damien’s grip loosen up on my arm. I could feel the twins staring at me.

“Please stop staring at me and go to sleep.” I said to them as I made my spot little more comfortable for my body. I felt a leg draped across my leg and arm draped across my stomach. 

I guess this how I’m sleeping tonight. Great I can’t even move that good.  I said to myself.

I guess I was sleeping for a good 3 hours when I received a panicked mindlink from Nick.

Charnelle I know you are sleeping but I need you to get to the southern border immediately that Travis guy is here to see you!

Wait! What Nick why is he here and what time is it.

I don’t know I’m on patrol right now and I told the guys that I will get you instead of the twins.

No! I’m coming! Give me 5 minutes. 

I was so confused when I finally woke up like why was Travis here for. Gentle climbed out of the bed and I went to put on some sweat pants and tennis shoes. Before leaving the house I peeked on Chloe who was still asleep. I quickly send a mindlink to Sasha and Nicole.

Hey girls I know you are a sleep but could one of you check on Chloe if she cries I’m needed at the southern border right now.

Yeah we can but why are you going to the southern border for this late in the morning for. Nicole asked me.

Travis is here for some reason I need to see what’s up. I will be back shortly hopefully before the twins wake up for training. 

Nelle I don’t like this you should let my brother’s know what’s going on.

I know I should its just going to cause a big feud with the packs and we don’t need that right now at all.

Fine hurry up girl. f**k it I’m coming with you too.

No Sasha I don’t have time for my brother to be mad at me if he finds out that you went with me. 

I’m coming no questions asks girl.

Ugh! Sasha no stay home please I’m almost there now I have to go.

I reached the southern border to see Nick standing between the warriors and Travis. I quickly shifted back to my human form and walked in front of everyone.

Travis’s P.O.V

“Little wolf I’m glad you are here.” I said to her. I keep pacing back and front in front of her.

“Luna I think we should call for the Alphas’s he seems a little agitated and antsy.” One of the warriors said to her.

“No its fine I got it. Everyone go back to your patrol and Nick you stay here with me please, please do not inform the alphas’s what is happening here please.” She said to them. I could tell that the warriors were not sure of her decision. 

“Little wolf you must be more stern with them ya know.” I said to her.

“Do you understand me!” She said more forcefully.

“Yes Luna!” They said as they took off running in different directions before we could down to business I smell someone else approaching the area.

“Seriously Sasha you could have stayed at the house girl.” She said to the young she-wolf.

“Travis what is going on, I thought we agreed that we would text each other to meet up?” She said to me.

“Seriously Nelle you can’t be serious about meeting up with him.” Sasha said to her while looking at me up and down.

“Sasha chill out that’s why I didn’t want you here, now can he tell me what’s up before everyone wakes up please. Travis please continue.” She said to us.

“I need to see the baby again please!” I said to her.

“Chloe? Why would you want to see her for? She’s just a baby?” She asked me while looking at questionable and worried all on her face.

“When we left the mall earlier after running into you and the baby. Vanessa has been acting very distant then she has very been, I just need to know if the baby is hers.” I said to her.

“Just because she was acting weird that doesn’t mean that she is Chloe mother she had a rogue scent to her when I found her.” She said to me with tears forming in her eyes. 

“When a pup is born outside of a pack that the mother is in it will have a rogue scent on them to make them a rogue until the alpha accepts that pup. I just want to do a DNA test on her for my own sanity please little wolf.” I said to her.

“I will have to think about it Travis.”
