Chapter 6

Charnelle’s P.O.V.

“I will have to think about it Travis and get back to you on this. How do you know Vanessa even wants her? She left her in the forest for anyone to get or for someone to attack her.” I said to him. My eyes glazed over.

Where are you right now Nelle? I received a mindlink from Darren.

“Look I will keep in touch with you definitely but you need to go now. My mates are up now, please give me a couple days to figure this all out ok Travis I promise you that I will give you an update on everything.” I said to Travis. My eyes glazed over once more.

Ok Charnelle you have 5 f*****g minutes to answer us or we will come look for you! Damien said to me.

“Fine little wolf, I will give you 3 days to have an update for me and we will meet again here at this very spot.” Travis said to me.

“No next time we will meet in neutral territory away from my pack, OK?” I said to him.

“Fine neutral territory it is then goodbye for now, little Wolf.” Travis said to me as he disappeared into the woods. Before I could fully turn around, I smelled them coming towards me. I could tell they were upset. I made it to one of the trees that was behind but before I fully braced myself I was pushed into the tree.

“Why are you out here naked in front of Nick for?” Darren asked me, looking between me and Nick and then Sasha.

“Why the hell are you out here to Sasha?” Damien asked her.

“I wanted to go for a run before my training with my mom and Sasha wanted to come with me and we run into Nick that’s all.” I said to them quickly.

“I wasn’t talking to you Charnelle, I was talking to Sasha. Speak now!” Damien said to us. I know he was using his alpha tone with her, which I knew she couldn’t disobey them even if she wanted to. Sasha looked at me, I gave her a brief nod to tell what happened here.

“I was just accompanying Nelle with her run that’s all.” Sasha said to them. They narrowed their eyes at us and picked up some clothes to handed us.

“Nick and Sasha leave us immediately!” Damien and Darren said in unison. I watched as Sasha and Nick walked away from the spot. The twins started pacing in front of me I started to get a little nervous because I knew that I really had upset them. Then they stopped pacing and looked at me, started walking towards me. I couldn’t anticipate what their next move was going to be, before I could think I felt two sharp sting on both sides of my neck and I blacked out.

Damien’s and Darren’s P.O.V

Granted we wasn’t planning on marking her until after our alpha ceremony but we keep feeling like she was lying to us, and she had our Beta female lying to us as well, we can’t let that s**t happened at all.

“You know her mom is going to be looking for her for her training this morning right.” I said to Damien.

“Yeah I know, we are setting these rules today no more waiting. Find out who was out on patrol last night immediately, my wolf have been antsy all night since she left the bed.” I said to Darren. Walking in the pack house we was greeted by our sister.

“Oh my goddess is she okay? I knew she should have told you guys what was happening last night.” Nicole said to us. We looked at each other then back to our sister.

“Meet us in our office immediately Nicole and then bring Sasha and Nick as well as Maurice.” We said as we made our way to our bedroom.

“Yeah sure I will go get them. Is something wrong?” Nicole asked.

“Do as you are told Nicole NOW!” We said to her.

“Mindlink Beta Shawn and Beta Sharnelle to see if the can come get Chloe until we handle their daughter.” I told Damien. I placed Charnelle in the bed, closed and locked the door. Headed to our office.

“Mindlink her parents her mom was very upset that she missed training again this morning and I also have the omegas getting Chloe ready downstairs in the living room right now. Good everyone is here. Would you all care to let us in on what the f**k happened last night at the southern border?” I asked everyone in the room.

“Someone better start talking to us immediately!” We said to them.

“Look all I can tell you is that I was doing my patrol when some of the warriors were mindlinking me asking me to come to the southern border and when I got there I saw that rogue from before at the field and he was demanding to speak to Nelle about something serious. So I mindlinked Nelle to come to the southern border.” Nick said to us with his head bowed.

“Then Nelle mindlink us to keep watch over Chloe if she cries or anything and she told us to stay here.” Nicole said to us.

“Nelle told me to stay at the house but I insisted that I come along with her since I really don’t trust him like that around her. She gets lost in her mind when he is around, but when I got there she was trying to come him down he was so worked up and agitated about something. Finally she got him to calm down and he told her that he wanted to see Chloe again.” Sasha said to us.

“Chloe what does she have to do with him for?” We asked Sasha.

“Apparently he thinks that Chloe is Vanessa’s baby and he wants Nelle to do a DNA test on her to see.” Sasha said to us.

“Why would he think that Chloe is Vanessa’s baby? And why is Vanessa with him anyway?” We asked them, before we could get answer our eyes glazed over.

Unlock this f*****g door right now! I’m not playing with you two! What the f**k did y’all do to me? Charnelle said to us in a mindlink.

“Sorry about that now tells what were you saying.”

“That Vanessa is Travis’s mate that they meet that night when we went to the club, apparently it was after the fight that Nelle and Vanessa got into it in the bathroom, and after they kissed each other.” Sasha and Nicole said to us.

“Opps they wasn’t supposed to know that right?” Nicole asked Sasha.

“No they wasn’t girl fuck.” Sasha said to her.

“WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN THEY KISSED?” We asked them.

“It was right before you showed up alpha Damien.” Sasha said to Damien.

“Is that why he was so closer to her that night huh?” I asked her.

“Yes alpha.” Sasha said to us.

“FOR NOW ON IF ANYONE SEES LUNA CHARNELLE WITH OR INTERACT WITH THE ALPHA NAME TRAVIS AND THEY DO NOT INTERFERE THEY WILL BE PUT IN THE DUNGEON FOR TWO WEEKS.” We said we sent out a massive waves of mindlinks to every member of our pack.

“Dismissed everyone out now!” We said to them. Once everyone left our office we heard things being thrown around in our bedroom. I quickly unlocked the door and Darren enter first.

Charnelle’s P.O.V

“You two duplicitous sons of bitches locked me in this f*****g room. I hate you both right now. Don’t touch me!” I said to them as I throw other vase at their heads. They moved closer to me.

“You need to calm the f**k down Charnelle, if anything we should be the ones yelling at you right now not the other way around PUP!” Damien said to me as he moved closer he grabbed my wrist and held them together while Darren grabbed my ankles.

“Don’t touch me! I hate you both!” I yelled at them only to have a sharp sting go straight towards my heart.

“Careful with your words pup once you are marked by your mate and the hateful words you use against them attacks your heart.” Darren said to me.

“WAIT! You marked me without my consent are you two serious right now I can’t believe y’all!” I yelled at them.

“You had no right to mark me without my permission you both know that’s against wolf laws on some many reason right now and your acting ok with this s**t! Let me go right now!” I yelled at them again.

“Not until you calm the f**k down Charnelle please!” Darren said to me as he loosened his grip on my ankles.

“Fine I will clam down then. You can let go of my arms now.” I said to Damien. Damien loosened his grip on my wrist as well. I just looked at them with so much anger in me that I moved from the bed to sit on the couch.

“So why did you lie to us Nelle about the boarder you could have told us everything that was going on you know that right.” They said to me while sitting on the bed looking at me.

“I didn’t tell you because I knew you would react this way and to put a watch guard on my back from the whole pack is uncalled for and you know it.” I said to them.

“You shouldn’t have lie to us from the beginning then we wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place right PUP?” Damien said to me. I looked in Damien eyes I could see so much anger in his eyes just as I have in mines at the moment.

“Where is Chloe at right now I need to see her.” I said to them.

“She is with your parents and ours right now until we get this s**t under control we will not be leaving this room, until we set some ground rules with you and your reckless behavior that has been going on.” Darren said to me. Their was a knock on the bedroom door, Darren went to open it there was an omega there with food for us to eat since we all missed breakfast this morning.

“Eat.” Darren said to me as he handed me my plate of food.

“I’m not hungry right now. I just want to see Chloe first.” I said to them. Damien pulled out his phone and showed me a video of Chloe at my parents house cooing away and laughing with both of our parents. Satisfied with seeing her in the video I decided to go ahead and eat my food that was in front of me. After eating our food the twins looked at me.

“What now?” I said to them with an attitude

“Lose the attitude pup is all we want right now, and to go shower you smell like him.” Damien said to me.

“Did he touch you when you was at the southern border.” Darren asked me.

“I can’t remember but I don’t think so.” I said to them. I watched as their eyes glazed over to let me know that they was talking to someone.

Nick did Travis touch her or anything at the meeting last night?

He touched her face and hair alphas.

“Go shower NOW!” They said to me.

“You two are unbelievable right now like seriously?” I said to them as I got up from the couch and walked pass them towards the bathroom.

“No what’s unbelievable is you letting him touch you and Chloe on the face. Didn’t think you I would have saw that in the mall yesterday huh?” Damien said to me.

“It must have slipped my mind.” I said to them as I entered the bathroom to take a shower and to zone out last night events.

Maurice’s P.O.V.

After the meeting with the twins, I was still shocked by what happened while everyone was sleeping. I entered my bedroom with Sasha hot on my tail trying to explain what happened last night.

“Sasha, I don’t care what the f**k happened last night ok, I’m upset because my girlfriend is not responsible enough to wake me up to tell me WHAT THE f**k IS GOING ON!” I yelled at her.

“I’m sorry babe I swear I know you would have told the twins and she would be in more trouble then she is right now. I only went because I didn’t want her to get caught up in the same situation like it was at the club is all I’m saying babe.” Sasha said to me.

“What else happened in the club besides them kissing each other and him running his hands all over her body luckily Damien didn’t see that part he really would have lost it on them.” I said to her. I sat on the couch and Sasha sat on the other end of the couch just looking at me with sad eyes.

“Babe I swear it won’t happen again I promise you that.” Sasha said to me.

“Sasha you are right it won’t happen again because you are not to leave this room at all only to go to school and home that is it and I will have a warrior with you 24/7 just like the twins are doing with my sister. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?” I asked her.

“What Maurice you are been unreasonable right now like how can you lock me in this room all day that’s not ethical at all.” Sasha said to me.

“DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME SASHA?!” I yelled at her.

“Yes crystal clear.” She said to me.

“Good now go shower.” I said to her.

Sasha’s P.O.V.

”Maurice can we please talk about this some more? Because I’m not staying in this room throughout the school year like some little kid.” I said to him as I walked into the bathroom and stripped off my clothes.

“We will talk about this later right now I have a meeting to attend with my father right now.” He said to me as he left the room and locked the door. After hearing the door locked I sent a message to Charnelle.

Hey girl how are you doing? Your brother is pretty upset about everything that is going on right now. Do the twins have you on 24/7 watch as well? Please message me back. After my shower I sat in the room bored so I decided to catch up on some homework and some tv shows that I have missed in the past week. Maurice finally returned to the roo after being gone for two hours.

”How was your meeting babe?” I asked trying to lighten the mood in the room.

”It was good, put some clothes on so we can go eat dinner with everyone.” He said to me, quickly slipping on a pair of jeans and a crop top and slides we headed downstairs to eat. Downstairs the atmosphere wasn’t any better with everyone mad with each other, the twins and Charnelle were the last ones to arrive for dinner. I looked at Charnelle I could tell that she was still upset and had been crying from todays events.

Charnelle’s P.O.V

Dinner was a very quite one for us at the pack house. Everyone was lost in their on thoughts, no one was joking around with each other like we normally would do. Today was Sunday so it meant that we had school in the morning. I looked around the room missing the loud conversation that would be going on right now.

“Can I be excused?” I asked Darren.

“No you haven’t eaten any of your food right now.” Darren said to me.

”I‘m not hungry right now so can I just go back to the room?” I said to them.

”Nelle please just eat something off of your plate please baby girl.” Damien asked me. Finally giving in I started to eat my food, after dinner I walked into Chloe’s nursery and picked up one for her stuffed animals to hold it for a while. Damien and Darren entered the nursery.

“She will be back at the end of the week OK, but we do need to talk to you for a minute though.” They said to me. I looked at them questionably with raised eyebrows, waiting for them to finish talking.

“The end of the week, are you serious right now? That's too long for me not to see her or touch her. We are still in the bonding stage right now. I need her back here immediately, not by the end of the week.” I said to them.

“We know that baby, but we can’t have you disregarding our protocols that we have placed for everyone’s safety in this pack.” Damien said to me while taking the toy out of my hand.

“Whatever is my punishment for disregarding protocol please give it to me now, so you two can stop hovering this s**t over my head.” I said to them with an attitude and walked past them towards our room.

“For starters lose the f*****g attitude whenever we bring it up to you. And stop walking away from us when we are talking to you. That s**t is annoying.” Damien said to me as he grabbed my arm and turned me around to face him.

“You will have a guard with you 24/7 no questions asked. You will come straight home after school. Your scout training will be on suspension until we feel like we can trust you again to have that privilege back. NO MORE MEETINGS WITH TRAVIS EVER! NO MORE IN CONTACT WITH TRAVIS!” They said to me, I stared at them for a moment before I could speak.

“You do realize that I’m on the dance team and I will have practice every Wednesday and Saturday night right? And I can’t have a guard with me 24/7. That's crazy as hell. You are not suspending my scout training when I haven’t even gotten a chance to get back into the swing of things. And as far as no more meetings with Travis, I have to meet him in a couple of days to go over Chloe’s DNA results that I need done on her, so I will have to meet him.” I said to them.

“Like we said you will have a guard with you at all times even for your practices and we will be handling the meetings with Travis for now on not you.” Darren said to me as he walked into the bathroom.

“No I will handle the meetings and you two can accompany me to them but I know him, I’m not going to make this situation worse then what it already is.” I said to Darren, as I walked into the closet for some clothes in the morning for school. I was grabbed forcefully by my hair backwards leaning into Damien’s body and I saw Darren walking towards me from the bathroom.

“You must have forgotten your place in this relationship Nelle, we make the rules and you obey them understand me?” Damien said in my ear, I watched as Darren’s eyes went from brown to hazel letting me know that his wolf had surfaced on me.

“HE ASKED YOU A QUESTION PUP. ANSWER HIM.” Devil said to me.

“I understand you Damien.” I said trying to loosen the grab he had on my hair with my hands.

“Let go of my hair please Damien?” I said to him, Damien let go of my hair and walked into the bathroom. Darren handed me my night clothes and walked to the bedroom with me. I got in the middle of the bed when I heard my phone ring from the night stand.

“Hey mom, how is Chloe doing? I miss her so much?” I asked my mom on the phone.

“She is doing good baby girl. I will bring her to see you in the morning before school, ok sweetheart.” My mom said to me.

“Thank you mom I would really appreciate that very much, I love you mom.”

“I love you too baby girl, sleep tight baby girl.

“I love you more.” I said to her.

I heard Damien coming out of the bathroom, laid on my stomach scrolling at my phone looking at f*******:. Damien sat next to me on the bed and snatched my phone from my hand.

“Hey I was on that!” I said, trying to get my phone back from him.

“Bed now. Goodnight.” Damien said to me, and placed his leg over mine and Darren placed his arm over my chest. I laid peacefully asleep until I had the urge to get some water. Slowly I moved Darren’s arm and Damien’s leg, that was a big mistake. Damien forcefully grabbed me back to his side.

“Where are you going?” Damien asked in a sleepy tone.

“I want some water and to use the bathroom.” I told him.

“Fine hurry up baby girl.” He said as he turned to his side to go to sleep. I walked into the bathroom and used it and headed to the kitchen. When I arrived at the kitchen I saw Nick pacing back and front.

“Nick, are you ok? What’s wrong with you?” I asked him while getting a cup from the cupboard and walking to the sink.

“I don’t know, my wolf has been antsy all night, and it’s driving me crazy right now. What are you doing down here anyway?” Nick said to me.

“I wanted ice water so I came to get some, maybe your wolf sensed your mate nearby or something. That's why he is acting so weird right now, if I was you I would go check it out.” I said to him, as I washed my cup out and placed it back in the cupboard. I watched Nick walk out the kitchen and head to the front door and leave the pack house, only to hear the back door open and Simone walks in looking at me questionably.

“Simone, is there something wrong? Why are you looking like that?” I asked her.

“I thought I smelled amber and cedar wood coming from here. I guess I was wrong.” She said as she turned to leave.

“No, don't leave, you must have just turned 18 right? And you did smell amber and cedar wood in here. That's Nick’s scent, I will get him for you.” I told her, I quickly mindlink Nick to come back to the kitchen.

Nick comeback to the kitchen. It's an emergency, please hurry!

Nick comes rushing back into the kitchen and locks eyes with Simone.

“Mate” was all I heard before they disappeared into the pack house.

“That was sweet of you to do that for them.” Darren said to me as he put his hands around my waist, and pulled me closer to him.

“I can be sweet when I want to. Besides, what are you doing down here?” I asked him.

“I came down here to bring you back to bed. You know our wolves can’t sleep well if you are not beside us ya know.” Darren said to me as he carried me upstairs to our bedroom.

“Is that so now? It must have slipped my mind,” I said to Darren as we entered our bedroom.

“What took you so long to get back here?” Damien asked me when Darren placed me on the bed.

“I was helping Nick find his mate, damn I didn’t think I took that long since I had to walk down three flights of stairs.” I said to Damien as I moved from the bed to head towards the bathroom to put my hair into a messy bun.

“You left the pack house?” Damien asked, getting mad and moved to the vanity’s doorway to block my movements.

“No I was in the kitchen this whole time Damien, damn trust me, I know how you two are right now, I’m not trying to piss you guys off.” I said to him as I walked past him to get back in bed. I heard a low growl escape his lips. Darren just snickered at his brother and shook his head. I looked at the clock on my phone and it read 12:30am.

“Great, I have a couple of hours to sleep.” I thought to myself, as I made myself comfortable in the middle of the bed.

Simone’s P.O.V.

“I really found my mate and he is a warrior at that.” I said to myself, as I lay cuddling with Nick, who sounded asleep right now.

Simone, I need to talk to you immediately. Vanessa said to me.

Like right now Vanessa, I’m kinda busy right now.

Yes right now! I need to know if Charnelle ran any tests on that baby yet?

You mean Chloe? No, not yet later today is she. Why?

Look, just let me know as soon as possible when she does OK please.

Fine, I will let you know. Now goodnight Vanessa.

I finally drifted off to sleep.

Charnelle’s P.O.V.

I woke up to someone trying to mindlink me, so I took down my walls that I had up.

Yes, who is this?

It’s me Vanessa. Look, Charnelle I know we have our differences between us, but I need to talk to you immediately please. I stir a little in bed, to fully wake up now.

Fine, when do you want to meet?

Now, if that’s possible, I know how Damien can get when someone disobeys him.

I looked at Damien and rolled my eyes, “this b***h”, I said to myself.

Fine, where do you want to meet?

In that area where you do your training with your mom, is that fine?

Yes that’s fine, does Travis know you are here?

No he doesn't, that's why I have to hurry.

Fine, I'm coming.

I slowly move out of bed and grab my shoes and head out to the front door.

“Where do you think you are going?” Maurice asked me.

“Got damn it, Maurice you scared the s**t out of me.” I said to my brother making my way to the door.

“Answer my question Nelle, where are you going?” He asked again.

“I’m going to meet with—“ Maurice cut me off before I could finish my sentence.

“If you say you are going to meet with Travis I will personally take you back upstairs to your mates.” He says angrily at me.

“I’m not meeting him OK, I’m meeting with Vanessa. Please keep your voice down. I don't want them to wake up.” I said to him, I reach for the door, only to have it closed on me. I turned around to see Damien and Darren looking at me with anger and disappointment in their eyes.

“You told them?” I asked Maurice.

“Yeah I did, you caused enough trouble in the past couple of days and that s**t ends here. I love you sis, you’re playing a dangerous game right now.” Maurice said to me as he walked away from the foyer and headed back upstairs.

“It’s not like that at all, I was just going to see what she wants to talk about that’s all.” I said to them, only for them to turn and walk away from me to head back to our room. I let out a growl of annoyance.

Look, we will have to try to do this later today when I’m not near my mates. Is that okay with you?

Yeah that’s fine. What about lunch time at the school near that pond?

Fine, I will meet you there.

I walked back into our room. I could feel the tension in the air when I opened the door. I walked to put my shoes back in the closet, I sat on the coffee table looking at them on the couch, I could tell they were having a conversation with someone or with each other.
