The next couple of hours seem to go by in a blur. Mama Jean, Raven, and I are all taken to the pack clinic where we ran into the pups that were rescued. They are all crying and upset, but once they see Raven and I they get up against doctors’ orders and throw themselves at us. We pile on the floor as they all wipe their tears, and we tell them they are safe now. We took special care of Xavier’s little brother.
After we got to them, they all calmed down and explained to them that they were safe, no more being slaves, no more survival mode, they all seemed to relax.
