“Ok, only 30 more minutes, then we have to go. It’s getting dark.” I tell Jade as she is playing with her doll by the water. I pick up movement from the north and see the patrol. It’s strange, it is like almost all the of them has left their post, but why?
“There may be a breach on the southern boarder. You should be safe here.” One of the trainees’ tells me as he runs by. I look to Jade and debate taking her home now. But if it’s by the southern boarder, than in theory we should be ok here, that is miles away and from the looks of it, it looks like they are all headed there. I decide to let her stay.
