That particular morning, Anthony Ashford stood confidently behind the podium at the grand conference hall of Ashford Group, announcing the company's newest multi-billion-naira project. The hall was packed. Journalists, reporters, business executives, shareholders, and investors occupied every seat. Several television stations had come to cover the event, making it one of the most anticipated press conferences of the year. Camera flashes illuminated the room. Anthony stood tall in his perfectly tailored black suit, his commanding presence filling the stage. His deep voice carried across the hall as he spoke about the company's future plans. "Ladies and gentlemen, this project represents our commitment to innovation and economic growth. Ashford Group remains dedicated to building a better future for generations to come." Applause filled the room. Many people admired him. At thirty-two, Anthony Ashford had become one of the youngest billionaires in the country. His intelligence, determination, and business success had earned him the respect of investors and competitors alike. He was the man who never failed. The man who always had answers. The man who remained calm under pressure. As the question-and-answer session began, several reporters raised their hands. "Mr. Ashford, how soon will the project commence?" "What impact will this have on the economy?" "Do you plan on expanding internationally?" Anthony answered each question with confidence. Everything was going perfectly. Until it wasn't. A sudden wave of murmuring spread through the room. One reporter looked at his phone. Another gasped. Several journalists began whispering among themselves. Anthony frowned slightly. His secretary, Clara, hurried toward him. Her face had lost all color. "Sir..." Her voice trembled. "This just started trending." She handed him a tablet. Anthony lowered his eyes. And the world around him stopped.
