It had been ages since I saw Carry Fallon, she did not look very different but you could see that time had gone by a little on her side.
Carey Fallon, the principal of my high school and my dad’s fiancé before he died stood before me with the warmest smile ever. I was worried that she would be angry with me. She deserved to be, Dad’s death had really hurt her and then I had disappeared and abandoned her.
Carry and Dad had gotten so close that they decided to get married and they were engaged just not long before Dad died. Before Dad died, they had both spent a long time with each other planning future trips and having fun in the present. And so naturally, I spent some time with them as well and those I tell you were swell times.
