(SOLANA’S POV)
“Solana!”
It was Chloe who interrupted me with her voice in a tone that was slightly above her usual shouting level. I gave a clueless look at the skirt that she was holding out. I was not sure of what she had been saying about the skirt and so I did not know what to tell her.
“It’s very pretty.” I attempted with a guilty smile and a nervous laugh.
Chloe sighed and then gave the skirt to one of the store attendants that had been assigned to us. She came over to me and put an arm around my shoulder.
“Are you okay Lana?” She asked me in a concerned way.
I sighed and smiled.
“Yes I’m okay Chloe.” I assured her and then I started walking through the store again paying more attention to the clothes as I walked by.
“Are you sure? You keep on zoning out.” She said to me
