Pulling the shutters apart, I push the French doors wide open, and step out on to the stone tiles. The sun is bright, but the temperature is still cool, given that it is before ten o’clock in the morning. Lincoln headed out to the market to collect some last minute Christmas ‘essentials’ so that everyone has what they want for the day. Stretching my legs out on the sunbed, I pull my hat forward a little needing the shade.
