We manage to dock into a marina at a town called Stintino on the island of Sardegna, just as the sun is setting, thanks to a strong westerly wind that kept the security team on their toes for the majority of the day.
We spent most of the day discussing our families, Ella and Austin's origins in particular; how Ella came to find out she was the last surviving faerie and the insane drama surrounding her birth parents, a talisman and a horrible turn of events at Will's brother's wedding. All which ultimately led to Austin and Ella becoming a literal power couple in their world before Ella had even finished school. It all sounds so farfetched to me and yet, the more she speaks of it, the more normal her strange world seems every day.
