It is with a grumpy sigh that I am packing my suitcase the morning after our day of tourism in Barcelona. It had been a very normal day. No photographs that we knew of, no staring, no comments or people coming up to us...it was just great.
I had filed away the incredible sights of La Sagrada Familia into my mind along with the captivating inside of St Peter's Basilica, marvelling at the outstanding creativity of the architecture and the elaborate artistry.
Both were entirely human constructs but able to command a unique magic of their own in the minds of all that went inside them.
I am simply thankful I have experienced it all with James, knowing I'll be able to treasure those memories and reflect on them with him for the rest of our lives.
