"We are in the city for a major martial arts tournament and, honestly, my hugely feminine mum has always been a little against me doing it. She wanted a girly girl, but she got me instead. I have been aiming for some time to represent us at the Olympics and all she used to say was that a man would never want to date a woman who could kick his ass. Horrendous thinking, I know and not even something I care much about at the age of seventeen. Thank you for helping to prove her wrong, for proving that women can be strong and brave, dress up like the girly girl in a gorgeous pink dress and still manage to date the future crown prince of all people!
